I clerked / Traded in these pits for almost 20 years, and looking back, I can honestly say it was one of the greatest places on earth.

It feels like an another life now

Building of people packed onto a trading floor. Risking their own money and making split second decisions that could change their lives.

There were no screens separating you from the competition. You stood face-to-face with them every single day.

We thought it would last forever.

At the time, it was impossible to imagine that something so alive, so chaotic and so powerful could ever disappear.

Almost overnight, a way of life that had existed for generations was taken away.. just like that

And once it was gone, it was gone.

You can recreate a trading floor. You can make movies about it. You can show people pictures and videos and tell all the stories you want.

But you will never recreate the pits.

The characters. The competition. The friendships. The pressure. The adrenaline. The roar of the opening bell. The people all trying to make a living with nothing more than their instincts, their voice and their hands.

There will never be another place with that vibe.

I was fortunate enough to spend almost 20 years of my life there.

We didn’t realize it at the time, but we were living through the end of an era.

And damn, what an era it was!

Some of the best days of my life!

If you worked in the pits, you know. And if you didn’t, it’s almost impossible to explain.

Last night I was blessed to receive a ROC STAR Award 🏆from Payroc
Getting back on top is a grind.
This job isn’t easy.
And no one does it alone.
I’m grateful to work for a company that actually shows up , not just when things are going well, but when life gets real. That support is the difference, and Payroc does just that.
I’m proud to be part of a company built on God, family, and loyalty , where people aren’t just numbers and the work behind the scenes truly matters.
Sales is tough, but life is tougher.
And success only lasts when there’s support on both sides at home and at work.
One of my biggest blessings is getting to share this journey with my two nephews, @frankygigs @jgigss_4 watching them show up and put in the work every single day. That’s what this is really about.

Careers are built on time.
Reputations are built on trust.
And success only lasts when there’s loyalty behind it.
Grateful for the leadership, the partners, the reps, and my family for always supporting me.
Proud to be Payroc
Merry Christmas 🎄
