Happy birthday to our design collective MATTER of COURSE

Founded 5 years ago to empower female designers from Berlin- all 11 designers and founding members are still part of the collective today. It is important to understand that we all have our individual and independent studios, but that we like to come together, share and discuss our work and enjoy showing new work together - like at @berlindesignweek this year.

At our group show GROWTH during @Berlindesignweek our Matter of Course member @fraucaze presented her standing bench BOCK and her modular shelf FENO.

All products are made of solid wood, in oak and spruce (other woods available upon demand).

Furniture, product, and interior designer Carolin Zeyher combines sustainable design and timeless concepts with a special attention to detail.

Her work pays tribute to her love of natural, high-quality materials as well as sustainable, responsible craftsmanship – including ethical treatment of all people involved in production.

Looking back at a wonderful exhibition with Meisterstrasse OG during London Craft Week at the Austrian Embassy London!

A special highlight was welcoming Austria’s First Lady, Doris Schmidauer, for a private tour of the exhibition. It was an honor to share the stories, passion, and Austrian craftsmanship behind the pieces with her.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who shared inspiring conversations, made me laugh and made these days feel so incredibly warm, welcoming, and full of joy!
