This weekend we are very pleased to be back on home turf as we flit back to the Birdhouse for an extended summer bumper edition. Having taken a hiatus in July, we have never been more back folks.

We will be taking control at the Birdhouse from 5pm this Saturday - yes, it’s an extender! - until close and we’ll be joined by close conspirator Frav, co-founder of the W.A.P Station and Wap.Recs. The Station have just announced a celebration to mark hitting 10K followers too so get yer chops onto their page for more details

Expect blissed out summery sounds as we begin, and a dance as the night draws in. Cold, creamy pints and delicious food all on site too.

Looking forward to a bumper edition of SLVA Saturdays at the Birdhouse - see you there!

08.03.26 DJ Lineup

We’re excited to announce Sunday’s selectors!

Opening the day is South East London DJ and producer @shokunin98, whose sets move through deep, hypnotic and eclectic territories. He is part of the @bon_se1 collective, known for its immersive blend of soothing and textural sounds.

Next up is @joe_stephenson, a digger of vinyl oddities from across the dance spectrum, with a particular soft spot for 80s textures. He also co-runs the record label @turnendtapes, whose releases explore the more experimental edges of electronic music: a signpost to the sonic aether.

Rounding things off are @wapstation, @sam__luke and @fravashb, who run a YouTube of the same name which has developed a cult following over the years. With Skip also holding it down at Phonica Records, they’re known for blending past, present and future electronics.

Homee Slice Mix 014 - Frav 👾🏡

2026 is well underway, and for this months show, we’ve drafted in the services of one of the 2 diggers behind the mighty @wapstation , @fravashb 🔊

“Inspiration for this mix came from culling my collection. I stumbled across records from when I first started collecting but ones that haven’t seen the light of day in a while. These are all records that I still really love, and they brought back lots of great memories of being with friends at house parties. I had a play around with them and here’s what I cooked up”

Check out the clips for a slice of Frav’s record collection, or head over to the Homee Slice or @komrad94 Soundcloud for the full mix 🕵️‍♂️

This Friday we are doing the rarest of things, heading north of the river to play records.

We are teaming up with brother channel W.A.P Station for a cosy instore session at @kristinarecords. We’ll be spinning from 6-10pm as SLVA and W.A.P Station, with an hour long SLAP at the end too

W.A.P stands for Wiggy And Proud and their channel is strictly wapperz. Run and managed by two extremely close friends of ours Frav & Skip Wooznam, it was only a matter of time before we gave people a SLAP.

If you haven’t come across their channel then you may have come across their first release as a record label Wap.Recs. Released back in March, WAP001 came from Roberto Manolio, titled Sublevel Restrictions.

This release has found its way into the record bags of some of our favourite selectors since and you may have had your brain scrambled by it if you found yourself in a dark basement or sunrise-stricken forest this summer.

With years and years of quiet digging and reputation building under their belts, the future looks bright for wappers, and we’re giving them out for free on Friday

Come find us at Kristina, check out the records and buy a drink at the bar! No cans inside please, support a local record shop <3

We’re back, kickstarting our shiny new mix series, Slipcast, we’re welcoming one of our all time favourites and long standing resident of Slipped Discs, Frav.

The mans a weapon, and this mix proves it yet again. There’s not much to say that hasn’t been said about Frav, so kick back and enjoy the ride.

While you’re digesting that, sit tight, as we’ve got some more big news for you lot right round the corner ⚡️

Next up on SLVA Radio is Frav: a very close friend, a dedicated digger and something of a wizard at the wheels of steel.

Frav co-curates and manages the indomitable WAP Station channel on YouTube which has developed a cult following over the years. Standing for Wiggy And Proud, the WAP Station have also launched their record label this year as Wap.Recs

WAP001 is available on their bandcamp and whilst you’re at it go check out the channel and other mixes they’ve released

For this 60 mins, Frav reaches into the mysterious cosmic void otherwise known as his record collection and conjures up dark magic, a skill we know and love him for. Cerebral and driving, it’s wiggy and proud but what else did you expect? Buckle up and strap in. Cheers Frav, thanks for making us want to chuck all our records in the bin again.
