Practicing the eight limbs of Ashtanga Yoga everyday is not about the asanas, is about the mind and their purification, so that our true nature, & pure soul can shine from within. If one is merely practicing for the asanas, then all will be empty and lost.

Mysore Family. Part of what makes coming back to mysore so special is the community. Both the friends that come to practice and the people that live here and keep everything running.

Many I have known for many years and many new… some I have known before but only got closer to this trip. What an amazing group which has been here together this season

I consider Mysore a home. I feel like we belong here, we have our place in the community… And we all get each other's weirdness because we all are a little weird. And we all live keeping this practice at the core of our lives. Which to most people is a little weird, but to us all it is normal.

I love this Ashtanga Family and am grateful to each and every person who has been here this season. We have shared many laughs, tears, a lot of sweat and created so many sweet memories. It's been Epic. Thank you All 🥰🥰🥰. It would not have been the same without you all 💛

Qué es un círculo ⭕️ sagrado?

Es un espacio para coincidir y despedirnos antes de partir de Mysore. Todos estamos muy agradecidos con nuestro maestro y esperamos regresar muy pronto a nuestra amada escuela.

El próximo Lunes 27 de noviembre, día de Luna Llena 🌕 nos reuniremos de 5 a 7 pm en mi terraza en Gokulam para crear un mandala de flores 🌷 y pedir por la paz en el mundo 🌍

I made the assistants lunch, yay. This month I was just a subbing assistant in October, but turns out I ended up in the shala a fair bit. What a blessing always to both be assisting our dear Guruji @sharathjoisr and to be sharing the time with these wonderful teachers. Thank yoh all. A few are missing here unfortunately

Always makes me smile to look around the room and see friends I love and have been practicing here with for so many years, all of us returning again and again to get some of that magic.
