This morning, I joined the first FRC Bahrain run with the Founders Running Club at City Centre.

I didn’t know how many people were going to show up. I didn’t even go there thinking about how many kilometres I wanted to run.

I just wanted to run, see how my body felt, and keep going until everyone stopped.

And trust me… I felt good.

But what I enjoyed most wasn’t the distance. It was seeing everyone out there running together.

Different people. Different fitness levels. Different paces. But everybody was doing the same thing - showing up and doing something for themselves.

That’s what fitness is about.

So if you’re still lying in bed thinking about getting up and doing something for your health, your fitness, or even your mental strength - just start.

Do the push-ups.
Do the sit-ups.
Go for a walk.
Run 1K, 2K, 3K or 5K.

Go at your own pace.

You don’t have to compete with anybody. You just have to get up and get it done.

Because sometimes you don’t even know what your body is capable of until you challenge it.

And today, I surprised myself too.

If you couldn’t make it this morning, no problem. I hope to see you at the next one.

Big thank you to @frcbahrain @nazgrimley @amfitness91 for bringing people together and creating something positive for the community. ❤️

Keep moving. Keep showing up.

Stay jiggy for life.
