A big big thank you to all of our generous donors for the raffle at last week’s ESEA Sisters 1 Year Anniversary BBQ event! We’re sure that quite a few of these may have caught your eye during the prize draw, so here is a round up of the ESEA Businesses who donated to our raffle. The funds we raised will be going to @hackneychinese 1. A ceramic table lamp from @claymai_ Clay Mai is a playful ceramicware line by British Vietnamese creative Mai Anh Le. Mai usually makes lamps, and handcrafts each one to be funky, experimental, and functional. 2. A Year of the Tiger Stained Glass Panel from @freakyglass Freaky Glass is a London-based educator, stained glass maker and proud Hong Konger. She has donated this Year Of The Tiger panel in support of the work that ESEA Sisters do to combat racism and bring unity to our community. 3. A £25 gift certificate from @the.caring.touch The Caring Touch is a collaboration between mother and daughter duo Linda and Suyin, based in South East London and creating handmade natural bath and body products and hand-poured candles. Linda moved from Malaysia to train as a nurse in the U.K. in 1974, and through her career, learnt more about holistic health through her work with dementia patients. The Caring Touch is a continuation of Linda’s lifelong sense of care for others.
