1 year of being in my 'Pink Trainers' 🥳
Time passes so quickly, but I remain grateful to all of you who download, streamed or screamed the song back to me at a gig over the last 365 or so. The song has a different significance to me since I wrote and put it out. I'm just so glad he got to hear it...and that he remembered the story. There's another part to it, but I'm gonna keep that just between us for now.
Put it on. Put them on. Play it on.❤️🙏🏿

Gia Ford - A Room within A Room (album)

So so so proud of this record. Had the funniest, most nuts time recording it and finding all these ridiculous sounds, chucking everything under the sun through my pedalboard and laughing til our bellies hurt the entire time. 💙 @gia__ford

We have been working on a new song! It will be released on Friday September 25th. It is called ‘How Does It — Feel?

We wanted to write a song about AI and thought it would be interesting to try and write it from an AI’s point of view. With a lot of focus at the moment about AI’s writing songs for humans, we thought it could be fun to write one for them!

We recorded it just moments after the song came together at our bass player Dave Burn’s studio in Tottenham. It is intentionally quite live sounding and we hope captures some of the energy and excitement of when a new song and idea enters the world!

We also were lucky to have fiddle player extraordinaire @duncan_menzies playing on the track 🎻

Engineered by @daveburnmusic
Mixed By Fred Abbot
Co Produced by Dave Burn and @fredabbottmusic

This weekend we play cranfestmusicfestival and can’t wait! We are on at 7.15pm at The George Hotel! See you there @stockers1954 🤠

Cheers!

3 shows. 3 days. A lot of miles, not a lot of sleep and ALL the fun 🤍✨

Feeling very lucky that we get to do what we love, but even luckier that we get to do it with the best people.

The music, the madness, the belly laughs and all those little moments in between… the kind of weekend you wish you could bottle up and keep forever 🥹

Full heart. Best people. Would do it all again tomorrow 🫶🏼🎶

More guitars today with long term PP collaborator @fredabbottmusic

Took me back to the heady days of 2022 when Fred helped me get some demos together for what would become the Pity Party E.P. Here we were today overdubbing the last parts for the second PP album!

Love the sound of the Jerry Jones Bass VI. From the early 90s, has the rosewood bridge and I’m almost certain those are the OG strings. Some Boss VB2 and a bit of slap back, gets me every time I use it once a year.
