Keep Hush x Carhartt - Huru-Hara (Singapore)

konnichiwagwan—big thanks to everyone who came thru for our second edition of @keephush_ @carharttwip_sg at @rasaspace last friday

still beaming from it, not gonna lie… the subs had my cells doing a full reset all night. appreciate everyone who pulled up early and those who stayed right through till 4am. it really means a lot.

i don’t think people fully understand when i say this, but this curation means everything to me. forever grateful that these women i’ve looked up to said yes. big ups @rahzizan, @raissafebriani, @shyshyshyhair and @syaheedah___!

full credits at the end, but honestly… none of this happens without everyone pulling together. massive, massive thanks to the homies who helped to make this happen.

more soon.

natasha xx

Whatever you know about dubstep… you can trace it back to Joe Nice. @joenicedj

He wasn’t just there, he was in the rooms that built it. FWD>>, DMZ, London in its rawest form. Then he carried that sound across oceans, before most people here even knew what dubstep was. He made sure to carry it so we all know what it’s supposed to sound and feel like.

Dubstep stayed true to its form —while it became; and still continues to be a global cultural phenomeon. It was carried, adapted, and rooted in different places across the world. Including here.

And on April 11, the legend himself steps into our underground for @keephush_ MANILA @ @kalawakanspacetime. Powered by @waaarphole sound system.. sharing the stage with @vernonperez, our local legend, and Continuum Bass residents.

And if someone asks again , why we’re so intent on preserving history; on documenting our scenes…. Why it’s as important as promoting shows….

This is the exact blueprint why. This is more than a “gig.” This is history unfolding. Our scene recognized — on this scale. We are honored; and We hope to see you on April 11.

Ive just realised it seems all I shoot is portraiture all day everyday. That is not the case. My roots in photography started off years ago with me shooting on point and shoot film cameras at @keephush_ .

Evemtually I found I was burning through film at an alarming rate and it wss getting pretty expensive so I switched to digital. This was my first live event I photographed on digital and the atmosphere was electric. @omygoshitsddoublee and @sirspyro always brought the energy and the Keep Hush crowd matched it without fail every single time.

Having my roots in photography being tied to a pretty golden time in life hanging with the Keep Hush boys like @depf__ @fredcc_ and @freddymasters will always be something I look back on fondly. Also something im keen to get back into.

To me @keephush_ was filled with moments just waiting to be captured and I went back and re edited all the old digital shots I took to truly do the atmosphere justice.

What Fred and Freddy have fostered in terms of community and the spirit of the uk underground music scene going strong and burning bright is something truly beautiful to watch and if you haven't you should definitely roll on down to an event.

@keephush_ x @getsalty.india for the first time ever.

It’s been 2 years in the making, and this year we wanted to bid goodbye to 2025 properly. What better way to close the year with Hyderabad’s first ever collaboration with Keep Hush.

We’re bringing back the power to the underground.

Mark your calendars!
