A big THANK YOU to everyone who has supported Back to School & Beats, helping invest in the education of children in Haiti! ❤️🇭🇹📚 through @psahaiti

We are so grateful to our wonderful @rogersburgersnyc , who will be donating 10% of the proceeds from their delicious Burger Creole to support this important cause. 🍔❤️ through Saturday 10/5/26

For those wondering how you can still help, there’s an easy — and delicious — way! Come enjoy a Burger Creole and support education at the same time.

Because what’s better than a full tummy while doing good? 😋🍔❤️

Thank you for helping us make a difference, one meal and one child at a time! 🙏🏽

Hi, everyone! I just wanted to take a moment to say thank you- from the bottom of my heart- for the love and support you’ve shown Konpa avec Kassie. Whether you watched, shared, followed, commented, or simply offered a kind word, please know that I felt every bit of it.

This journey is about so much more than dance. It’s about celebrating Haiti, honoring our culture, and creating a space where women and men can feel confident, connected, expressive, and empowered through Konpa-while embracing the joy, strength, and cultural pride that dance brings.

This film began as a vision in my heart, but bringing it to life required the talent, care, and creative contributions of an incredible team.

🇭🇹🫶🏾To Studio Choucoune, thank you for helping me develop the creative direction and for capturing the beauty and spirit of this project through your photography.

🇭🇹🫶🏾To Emmanuel JF, thank you for translating the vision into movement and imagery through your videography and editing. Your eye, artistry, and attention to detail allowed the story to live beyond the moment.

🇭🇹🫶🏾To DJ Kre’ol, thank you for creating the custom music edit that gave me the space to tell this story through dance while honoring the energy of “Doucement” by Fally Ipupa and Joe Dwet Filé. 🇨🇩🫶🏾🇭🇹

🇨🇮🫶🏾To Nafolo, thank you for the beautiful jewelry that brought richness, heritage, and elegance to the styling.

🇦🇴🫶🏾And to Himba Fashion, thank you for the shoes that carried me through every step with beauty, strength, and grace.

Every contribution became a part of the story- from the music and movement to the fashion, photography, and film. I’m deeply grateful to each person who trusted my vision and offered their artistry to help bring it to life.

And to every artist, creative, friend, and member of this beautiful community who continues to encourage me: thank you for reminding me that our culture deserves to be celebrated, preserved, and shared with the world. This is only the beginning, and I’m so happy you’re here.

From Brooklyn with love,
Mèsi anpil. Merci beaucoup. Matondo mingi.
Muito Obrigada. 🫶🏾🇭🇹🫶🏾

Being Haitian-American means carrying Ayiti with me wherever I go. 🇭🇹❤️

That’s why covering Project St. Anne’s Back to School and Beats fundraiser for @rfe.blk felt so personal. It brought together three things close to my heart: my Haitian heritage, my love for journalism and my passion for giving back.

Education is about giving children the tools, confidence and opportunities to dream beyond their circumstances. 📚✨

Grateful to @psahaiti for the work they’re doing for Haiti’s children and for the opportunity to help tell their story. Ayiti pap peri! 🇭🇹 Haiti will never perish, and its future is worth investing in.
