I'll be honest, I haven't seen any cars made in the past 10 years that could be considered truly significant, but this car changes it for me.

A new Italian hypercar brand called @giamaro.automobili invited me out to Motor Valley, for the launch of their new hypercar called the Katla, named after an Icelandic Volcano. And it blew me away.

A totally new quad-turbo V12, making 2,157 horsepower. 9,000 RPM rev limit. Manual transmission available and rear wheel drive. Active aero. F1-style pushrod suspension. And the best looks to come out of an Italian car manufacturer in a decade.

They even had a running prototype and it sounded like a high-strung, naturally aspirated, old-school V12. I love it.

It's still under development but it could rewrite the rule book when it comes to performance and speed in the next few years.

What do you guys think?
