POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

I had SO much fun this weekend performing in Bri Thiel's original work, Swan Song! It was genuinely the most moving a hilarious production I've ever been a part of, and it was chock full of talented people. "Death is not something to be taken lightly. It's permanent."

We put on this entire production with three weeks of rehearsal and a week of tech, but it never felt rushed. I cannot speak enough of the professionalism, kindness, and technique of everyone involved. It was an honor to originate the role of Sara, aka the Hare named Bear, and I look forward to posting a video of my favorite monologue from the show soon!

For now, "bask!" in the glory of our costumes!

Let's just pretend I'm not posting this nearly 6 months after the fact...

Back in March and April, I had the opportunity to work on the wigs for Ruthless! Designed by @jamievmattheus and design the hair and makeup for Uncle Vanya directed by @thetaliabelle
I learned so much from both productions and am grateful to everyone I had the joy of working with!
Here is to another semester of fun and challenging projects!!

BONUS: I lended my hands briefly to Blithe Spirit and I truly enjoyed seeing my peer's work on stage!!

Thank you to @rg.photography716 for the stunning photos from Uncle Vanya!

And some crumbs of insight into club activities for my final sem in paradise ✨🌙 | 💛💙💜

I love these groups so so so much and it has been such a privilege and honor to be at the helm of both of them this year, and give back as best as I could to groups that gave me everything from memories to friends to lessons and so much joy. Of course, it was not easy and would be entirely impossible without the support of all my friends on those eboards and in those groups. Thank you thank you thank you for giving me purpose and fulfillment! PRESIDENT Julia officially signing out 🤍

🧿☀️🩸

Back in September, I made my directorial debut alongside some of the most talented, hardworking theatre artists I know, and could not be more proud of it. I completely owe this show in its entirety to my cast and crew, who listened to my concept for this story and far surpassed my every expectation with their work. This was an incredibly ambitious undertaking for all of us to accomplish in just 3 weeks, but their support and their trust and belief in me was overwhelming, and they truly made all my wildest hopes and aspirations come true for this production that I dreamed up for a Script Analysis project my junior year. I learned so much and wore many hats throughout this experience (including puppeteer and chorus member!) and would not trade those lessons and memories for the world. I would be nowhere without the support of my friends, production members, and the PAC Eboard, who kept me happy, accommodated, and loved throughout this process. I hope with my whole heart this is not the end of my time exploring Thebes, or at least, as a director. Special thanks to @jharrel.liam for his help as a PAC executive, theatrical genius, and my friend during this production process!
