On this day, Sept 21, 2025, what started out with deciding I wanted to cast myself as Thor to visit sick kids and do charity work, turned into a dream come true when I got to play Zombie Thor for the official #marvelzombies social media promos with @marvelstudios and @disneyplus

This gig was a rare unicorn of an experience where the creatives, cast and crew all bonded like instant family. We literally laughed and just played for 2 days straight. Then we attended the premiere in style. Zombie Thor was a “spoiler” so I had to revive myself from zombie form.

My undead thanks to our director @marysgleason who was our Cap in leadership and heart. To our insanely brilliant FX Makeup Artists @momeinhart @mabbymakeup @calethomasmakeup

The genius Costumers @ramirezrage @fredrixfaith who made pure art out of our cosplays.

And definitely to Zombie Hands and Creative Lead @alana.peri

And ALL my UNDEAD ETERNAL LOVE to my Zombie Horde Family @carmenvalentina SCARLET WITCH @noeudnoir OKOYE @sandiego_thor THOR @hawkeye.cosplay HAWKEYE @crosscannoncosplay RED GUARDIAN @captain_britt YELENA

Day 31 of Star Wars Memories ⭐ Final Edition⭐

When I got this jacket in spring of 2020 it only had one show, The Mandalorian Season 2, the back Costume Department.

I didn't set out to have them all on one jacket, but ask you can see, I didn't need one more 😅. I dedicate this jacket to what I affectionately call "The Trpcic Years" 🦩. Simply put, they were my favorite.

I took this picture on my last day of Ahsoka as a way of reminding myself that I was here. I think that's what started this whole series. In the near 2 years of waiting for The Mandalorian & Grogu, I packed away these shirts as I moved on to dance with other projects and discover a life beyond Star Wars. Turns out there is one, but that's a story for another time .

But with the release of this movie, I've enjoyed literally unpacking these dusty old memories and sharing them with you. It started off as a reminder to myself that this ✨actually happened✨ and turned into a way of connecting and meeting people from across the country and I'm reminded of something even more important:

Star Wars Connects people ⭐
To quote my friend Erin (who I met on the set of The Mandalorian), "There is a kinship".

To every odd bird who never quite fit in, I promise your people are out there. Maybe you'll even find them here on this page
Stay tuned-this is just the beginning 💛
And thanks for watching - Gio

*Pictured and not pictured, American Costume Crew from a galaxy not so far away. The Mandalorian S1-S3, The Book of Boba Fett, Ahsoka & The Mandalorian & Grogu were filmed in Los Angeles, CA 2018-2024
