Meet the team !! @lukearoberts Luke A Roberts - our director Hello! I’m Luke, and I am the director of The Sinking Ship. I’m massively interested in thrillers and neo-noir films. I love stories that discuss our realities, constructs, and relationships with one another. I am very excited to bring you all this original short film about trust, misinformation, and an unhealthy clinging to masculinity. I love Blade Runner 2049 and the Spongebob Movie equally. Current pick: The Ides of March Fun fact: I have played dead for life guards during their training since the age 8, which is partially responsible for my casting as the victim in the film @grace_hegarty_ Grace Hegarty - our producer Hi, I’m Grace! I’m the producer on The Sinking Ship and really excited to be a part of the film and on my first film! And one of my many favourite films is Atonement! @l_thompson115 Luke Thompson - our sound editor/recordist Hiya :) my name is Luke T and I'm the sound recordist and Sound Editor. No Country for Old Men is pretty cool :P @theimitatinghare Eric Church - our script supervisor and costume expert Hi, I'm Eric !! and my fav film is The Thing (1982) of course :) @_xcecx_ Cecily Sharrock - our make-up artist Hi im cecily, im the makeup artist for sinking ship ☆My favourite film is don't worry darling :) @fredstonell Fred Stonell - our DP Hi! I’m Fred and will be DP on The Sinking Ship. Very much looking forward to sinking my teeth into this film and making something as visually compelling as the writing is! Fun fact: For all of the black and white, moodiness and grit I like to shoot, Pitch Perfect will always be my guilty pleasure movie 🙂‍↕️ @lewiss_mcclean Lewis McClean - our 1st AD Hello I’m Lewis and I’ll be the 1st AD on The Sinking Ship! I’m a sucker for gritty noir detective films so the moral ambiguity in this short’s script sucked me right in. Can’t wait to work with a wonderful team and do it justice! @dmdyerfilms Dominik Myles Dyer - our colourist My favourite movie is frankenstein (2025) and i'm hoping to help develop the film's atmosphere in the grade to help realise luke's vision.  @diplodobug Katherine Hammerton - 2nd AD and socials be nice 🥺

A few months ago I was asked by @seanwss to create a testimonial for his course @riffcraftandwizardry in return for exclusive early access before its official launch. If you play guitar or use creativity as a form of expression, there’s something for you in this course. Stoked to be a part of the release of something truly special 📸 @fredstonell Music by @scrpr #guitarlesson #whileshesleeps #metalcore #guitarplayer #guitaristofinstagram
