GIVING FLOWERS: THE ARTISTS 💐 Hustle on The Pier · Summer 2026

Ejoe Wilson has said: "It is our job as dancers to inspire others."

We believe there's something deeply human in that inspiration. Something deeply important.

So much goes into performing.

Years spent honing the craft. Weeks composing the work. A willingness to share yourself — to be exposed, to be perceived.

It's more than taking the spotlight for a few minutes. It's moving through self-doubt, rooting in the why, facing never-ending uncertainty.

It's the parts you never see on stage that are the most expensive.

In other words… It's not easy. But we do it anyway. We answer the call.

And as a result… for a few minutes, someone gets to look up from everything else happening in life and witness another person fully committed to expression, craft, music and movement.

To our Performers — you gave that experience to hundreds of people on Seattle's waterfront this summer. That's not nothing.

The message you left us is clear: Share your Art. You never know who will be inspired.

To all of our performing artists, Thank you for inspiring so many of us. Thank you for sharing your artistry. And thank you for reminding us what people are capable of ♥️

BUILDING FORWARD This summer, these artists generously shared their craft with our community and toward our mission. As working artists ourselves, we know that artistry takes time, dedication, and labor — and that artists deserve to be paid for their work. As ROTP grows, we're committed to building the resources to make that possible.

(Ty to everyone who donated - we are able to provide a small honorarium to our performers because of you!)

Want to help us create more paid opportunities for local artists? Support ROTP. Link in bio. ♥️

With love, – ROTP

The artist always looks inward at some point in their journey for the answers to WHY.
Why they are doing this?
Why they are moved by their art?
Why does it drive them more than anything else?
Why are they willing to sacrifice so much?
Why does it make them the most joyful?

Art is life, perhaps the truest reflection of a single life is the art that life produces, both big or small.

Tap in, ride the vibes.
