@brokenlantern_ 🕯️at @burningmancommunityevents Decompression at @theloomoakland - what an experience! ❤️‍🔥 And yes, this piece along with all the pieces created by Broken Lantern are available and for sale! 😌

I had the honor to host a collaborative mural this year at BM Decompression, representing Broken Lantern. I had actually just applied to live paint as an artist but @syndelic_art suggested that we could bring Broken Lantern to the event, and I’m so glad we did! Big thank you to Patrick as well for all the assistance and labor to make this mural happen. It was quite the journey, and we totally crushed it. 💘 :))

I stepped into the role of organizing, gathering materials, and building the whole project, bringing in 8 artists total working on this 5’x7’ mural together. We painted for almost 10 hours - pretty much until we weren’t allowed to do so hah! 🎨 So fun painting with some of my @campquestionmark Broken Lantern crew as well as my Bay Area artist community. I love how this piece came together and where it will be going.

I’m happy to share that this mural will be living at @theloomoakland for the foreseeable future for more eyes to enjoy. ❗️ Broken Lantern will return at the Loom events to continue working on this piece and new works beyond. Very grateful for this opportunity to collaborate with the Loom, sharing this piece, highlight Broken Lantern and the artists behind the work, and having an ongoing relationship of collaboration at the creative hub that is the Loom. We really feel the love & the support.

Being able to host this collaboration felt like a full circle moment. It was just a year ago that I met @artfool_ officially and had my first experience with Broken Lantern. It has become such a safe and happy place to keep returning to, growing closer and working with my fellow artists. Super proud to be able to represent Broken Lantern and share this creative gift for others to experience. Thanks Maurice for your support in this venture and for starting Broken Lantern Collective 🕯️ in the first place. 💖

This year at @kowtaandfriends Summit Sessions, the whole team has been pouring energy into curating something truly special, a stacked lineup of boundary-pushing performance artists, otherworldly live painters, and handpicked vendors bringing their absolute best to @bluemountaineventcenter !
Every piece of this is intentional. Every artist, every installation, every detail is building toward a weekend that feels like stepping into another dimension.

We’re beyond grateful for the brilliant minds coming together to help us create this experience. All that’s left is for you to pull up and see it unfold in real time.

You don’t want to hear about it after… you want to be there when it happens. Lock in those last minute tickets ASAP

This one has been hard to keep from getting leaked but we were trying to reward the people that are actively helping the camp survive. The community that’s involved with Camp?’s return home, from our website to donating, etc. We are very grateful for them. And this address for our homecoming, will be for them. It’s all because of them…

First camping trip of the season was epic. It was great to spend time with loved ones, friends I haven't seen in far too long and with new friends too. I'm incredibly thankful to be a part of a loving, creative community who values friendship and kindness and especially values the little bit of weirdness in us all 🫶

The weekend was filled with laughter, hugs, many doggos, dancing, good conversation, and non stop music. @artfool_ even encouraged me to paint a bit for the first time in 20+ years which I thoroughly enjoyed (thank you!!!).

My heart is so full 💛
