We’re wrapping an incredible first year of The Training Ground and are so proud of all we’ve accomplished: over 160 days of classes, a dozen dedicated faculty members, and 41 dynamic visiting artists bringing their expertise from the Bay and far beyond. The growth we’ve witnessed in our inaugural cohort of students is invigorating. Our first year — a pilot year of sorts — was also a year of learning. Rebuilding this program independently from its predecessor comes with real challenges. As we plan for year two, we’re turning to you. We’re launching HOLD THE GROUND, an ambitious fundraising campaign to raise $25,000 by July 1. These funds will root us where we stand as we move into year two: maintaining fair compensation for artists and faculty, supporting scholarships to keep the program accessible, and building the operational infrastructure that makes everything else possible. We know this work matters. At a time when many similar programs have closed, ttgsf remains committed to being a hub for pre-professional dance training in San Francisco. We were founded in response to this community, and now we’re asking this community to help us hold our ground. 🔗Click the link in our bio to make a tax-deductible donation through our fiscal sponsor Dancers’ Group. Every donation counts, no amount is too small, and every donor will be entered to win a ttgsf t-shirt.
