AUTUMN IS ARRIVING! And the reds ❤️ and oranges 🧡 and golds 💛 and browns 🤎 that come with it are here in full force, so soft and sweet and cozy. There’s literally nothing better than dining in our garden before it gets too chilly and dark to do so, so please join us to celebrate fall. 🍂 #autumnequinox #allthefeels #boxersofinstagram
(Side note, the boxer puppy is not IN the restaurant… she just felt too cute to leave out. SANKA!!!)

One week later, and my heart remains full of joy and gratitude for the SLO Coast & Friends wine fair. @scar_of_the_sea and I could not have dreamt of a better group of growers to celebrate SLO Coast.

There’s something about a field full of people who all understand the same thing without needing to say it — that farming comes first, that the wine is just what’s left over after you’ve done right by the land. Different places, different hands, same hold on the dirt. That’s what last Sunday was. This event means so much to me. It’s not the pouring, not the crowd — it’s the reminder that this coast is full of people farming the hard, honest way. Events like this aren’t really about the wine in the glass. They’re about the community around it — the growers, the friends, the people who drove out to Cambria just to stand in a field with us.

To all the local vendors who make SLO Coast what it is, and to our friends who showed up to help — thank you. This doesn’t happen without you.

And to @ohheypanda who is effortlessly talented at holding community together and keeping us all organized. I’m so proud to have you by my side. I love you.

Thank you to everyone who came. This coast, this community — this is why we farm here Can’t wait to do it again on June 27th, 2027. See you next year!
