This is Rachelle Lynn with a sunflower for #SunflowersForMario 🌻

I met @frenchychan through punk music, but her knowledge stretches far beyond any one scene. She knows a ton about indie music in all its strange and beautiful corners. Deep cuts, forgotten singles, labels you thought only three people remembered. I may have a PhD and be a punk producer, but she could be the true professor of underground music.

We also share a love for vintage hi-fi equipment. Tubes, wood panels, warm analog glow. The kind of sound that feels lived in and real.

All of this adds up to how deeply Rachelle listens. To music. To people. To history.

When she heard the story of Mario Calvi, she was genuinely moved. Mario was a young anti-fascist partisan and family member of two of us in @squirtgun_official . He was killed by Nazis the day after WWII ended, shot in front of his mother just as he was arriving home after years away at war. His fight was for dignity, for liberty, for the idea that ordinary lives matter.

Rachelle took this photo with a sunflower as an act of solidarity. Thoughtful. Intentional. Present.

The sunflower is our symbol. It turns towards light. So do we.
