I can’t believe I have a whole project out?! Teenage me is screaming right now, I used to shake with fear at the thought of stepping on a stage and I curated a whole show?!! It blows my mind, and I’m just so grateful to God it all came together. My first ever EP, my first ever sold out show, on my 25th birthday- all I can say is that God is good! Out of a lot of pain, came beauty- Isaiah 61:3 🤍

I have a whole lot of thank yous to give, firstly thank you Jesus for placing this EP in my heart and seeing me through the whole process of creating it and putting it out. Thank you to @sammofsound @thisisrtb and @jonotikare the amazing production, engineering and artistic minds behind this project you guys are truly amazing! Thank you to my mum, brother and dad for their constant love and support! Thank you to my friends who saw me through tears and anxiety over this EP and the release party and held my hand the whole way. Thank you soooo much to my incredible band and backing vocalists on the night @paulius97 @official_pete @_a.y.ub @mscookietv @damoahntoma @simplymaz you are all so so blessed and gifted, thank you for sharing your talents with me🤍 Thank you to the amazingly talented @clauds_is @poloblvck @thisisrtb and my little brother @onlyambrosehill for gracing the stage and giving us some amazing sets, love you guys so much!

Yemaya

The Yorùbá Orisha or Goddess of the living Ocean, considered the mother of all. She is the source of all the waters.

Yemaya is the nurturing mother. When her children are suffering, she bathes them with water. She soothes their pain. She washes away their sorrows. As her children grow and become teens and young adults, Yemaya wants them to develop self-esteem, to understand that their needs are as important as those of others

If someone walks into the ocean waves to greet Yemaya, that person should step into the water sideways with the feet left side pointing towards the water.

✨ Hosanna will be speaking on a panel about navigating the workplace, avoiding burnout and overcoming imposter syndrome. The panel opens a larger event of networking, wellness activities and games that look to set you up for the year ahead.

✨ The Creative Reset event is hosted by @yemaya.collective a networking/events collective focused on community and pursuing creative passions. They run mindful events throughout the year to connect, support and inspire women. We are so looking forward to Sunday!
