A new window display by @fresaur !! Her unique recycled and beautifully bound blank books are all for sale and very affordable! I also do love the way she designed a folded card system to display them. And these intriguing photos are by @sallyrchild who visited today and met @aaronelsordo who was also visiting to buy “Pushing 60” by @marciafarquhar. We thought these books would make great valentine presents!!! But so would any book in the shop!! #bookart #handmadebooks #bookbinding #sketchbooks #recycledbooks #alteredbooks #bookartbookshoplondon #artinlondon #hoxtonart

In the ‘Holes’ exhibition, visitors are encouraged to draw their emotions on a large mirror just as the artist drew her own in the exhibition. Two weeks in and it’s covered with interactions!

Here’s some visitors interacting on Saturday. Curator Aurora Ulian placed different coloured pens on strings and you can see these colours coming through in the final image.

A lot of creativity going on in the Animating Landscape workshop at South Hill Park Arts Centre on Saturday.

Using collages, mixed media and Stop Motion Studio on iPhone, we looked at Victorian panoramas, building storyworlds and how to simulate live action camera moves like zooms and pans in animation.

Thanks to everyone who participated. All the animations created will be on display in the gallery!

This workshop was put on in conjunction with the exhibition ‘Holes’ by Birgitta Hosea that runs from 7th Oct-10th Nov. Thanks to curator Aurora Ulian for all the support!

❤️‍🩹 Exploring the significance of approaching touch and other senses as the means to access and process emotions, on and off the page.
.
❤️‍🩹 Touch to listen, touch to feel, touch to observe, touch to understand.
.
❤️‍🩹 I use my fingertips to disconnect from the outside and connect with the inside-a way of observing, a way of listening to my intuition. I experience this sacred touch to experience myself.
.
The exhibition ‘Sacred Touch’ marks the conclusion of the artist residency at the University for the Creative Arts, Farnham.
Now presenting in South Hill Park Arts Centre. Thanks @fresaur for this experience and for bringing this project to life in this space ❤️‍🩹
