DIVERSITY THROUGH LITERACY was nothing short of magical ✨📚 A huge thank you to POTS for opening your doors and hosting such a beautiful day for our families and community. And a special shoutout to our incredible guest author, Susie Jaramillo, for inspiring our little readers and bringing Nursery Rhymes to life 💫 Our kids read, sang, danced, and fully embraced the joy of learning reminding us all how powerful early literacy truly is. Moments like these show what happens when families, community, and opportunity come together 💛 It truly takes a village. Thank you to all of our amazing community partners for showing up, tabling, and sharing valuable resources that uplift and support our families. Because when a child reads, a community succeeds. 🌱📖 #DiversityThroughLiteracy #EarlyLiteracy #Community #Families #ItTakesAVillage

A lazy river, stream, or brook is forever nostalgic for me and the wonder years in the @freshairfund program. Do you get nostalgic or love to chill by a body of water? #streaks #river #brook

When community shows up, families feel it💯 This weekend, I had the honor of helping bring together powerful voices—parents, advocates, educators, and elected officials—for the Neurodivergent Awareness Forum & Resource Fair, hosted with the Queens Borough President @queensbprichards and an incredible lineup of orgs. From strategies to support, we shared real solutions for families of children with disabilities. One of the most impactful moments? The Men’s Roundtable. Fathers showed up. Open. Honest. Powerful. Because when dads lead, listen, and love out loud—we change the narrative. I Am DAD is proof that when parents unite, we create change. The information can be overwhelming—but the right community makes it empowering. Join us at our next event (link in bio) and let’s keep showing up for one another. #IAmDAD #Neurodiversity #DisabilityAwareness #AutismAcceptance #AbleismAwareness #QueensNYC #ParentAdvocates #FathersMatter #MensRoundtable #CommunitySupport #SpecialEducation #ADHDAwareness #NYCEvents #IamDefeatingAbleismDaily

Just got back from 2 days with 1,200 powerhouse educators at the National Summer Learning Association (@smartersummers ) — and WOW. 🤩 After an emotional election season, THESE are the people you want to hang out with—loving, energized, & brilliant! They’re dedicated to serving the 25M kids who qualify for free lunch, like @freshairfund, @bgca_clubs & so many more. 🙌 I was there to share my research into how we can live (and learn) better with our devices but I learned so much too. Big thanks to Aaron Dworkin & the whole team for having me. And if you’ve got a High School senior, check out the @americanexchangeproject — it’s a domestic exchange program where kids spend time in states VERY different than their own. So smart.  #SummerLearning #EdLeaders #YouthDevelopment #SupportOurTeachers #BodyElectric

🙏🏽 A little fun fact about our CEO!  “I love my meditation practice. Every year, I do a 10 day vipassana up near #campmariah in Fishkill NY. 100 people get together and meditate for 11 hours a day in total silence. When we finally speak on the 10th day, I choose my words wisely. I pause before reacting and see the world through new eyes. What do you do to stay grounded?"   @nicholasrytting    .⁣      For more info on Vipassana meditation, visit www.Dhamma.org      .⁣   .⁣   #cauliflowercrust #cauliflowerpizza #consciousness #glutenfree #healing #keto #meditate #meditation #meditationpractice #pizzatime #plantbased #positivity #vegan #veganfood #veganlife #veganrecipes #vegansofig #vipassana #vipassanameditation #wisdom #yoga #yogaeverydamnday #yogainspiration #yogalife #yogalove #yogapractice #yogaretreat #yogateacher #yogi
