These photos are late to say the least but my ima choose to blame my photographer for taking his damn time with getting me them. Jokes aside it truly was a beautiful and incredibly humbling experience waking up a week ago today and having reached 22 years on this chaotic clusterfuck of a planet. The year broke me in more ways than I’m happy to admit, truly felt that I’d been reduced to my lowest at one point in time I can’t even bullshit otherwise . Through it all I still grew and found aspects of myself that I’ll need for everything that comes next, while at the same time putting to rest habits that only acted as hindrances in my next chapter. Words can’t express how fast my life is developing and I’m nowhere as prepared as I’d like to be but honestly, but that uncertainty makes it equally as exciting to simply mess around and continue to find out with every new opportunity, experience or setback. I owe everything to the great man above, he see’s all and knows all. I’m choosing to put my faith in his plan for me and to continue on doing the best I can with what I have available. Always🙏🏾🖤thank you for everyone truly for the birthday wishes, love and support. And just like that, another 365 days down, a lot of firsts finally accomplished and so much more than I could possibly begin to cover in a simple post. Nonetheless the biggest and most profound takeaway from this last year of my life has been rather simple and can be summarized in one fundamental way. Patience 🫶🏾✨I truly can say at this point in time I feel like somewhere along the way I lost sight of myself and what I was working towards with my efforts and my commitments that I take authority over at this point in my life. I let so much external noise and negative energy from my environment destabilize my aura and inhibit my vision for what I could be if I let go of what was. I have experienced so much genuine personal advancement this year and with it I go into this next year with the mindset of doing absolutely everything remotely possible to create more opportunities for more advancement with time and well spent effort. Life is all about timing and I gain nothing from stressing over mines being a little different from those around me. I’m well on my way, and i genuinely recognize and take incredible pride in that. The kid did good this year, but with everything coming next. I promise you I’m shattering expectations. Just gotta be patient you know 🤝🏾😁 thank you to everyone who played a role in all the magic that was the last year of my life. The highs and the Lows, all of it absolutely necessary to keep nurturing the individual I still am becoming even now and who I’ll be workin on for the rest of my life. To that end for this year I say…bring me adversity and problems and I’ll bring you a man willing to do anything to achieve his dreams. I’m next up in this game and it’s as simple as that.
