Whatta thrill to see @willieandlester in person at @labreakfastclub yesterday! So many of us grew up watching them on TV, and they’re just as hilarious as ever. ❤️🧡🩷📺 I love EggLeggs with all my heart, but she ain’t no dummy. 😁

Yesterday’s @labreakfastclub featured a stellar presentation by @rebeccamcline about Disney’s nature films from their inception. I learned so much from her talk, and I got to share two treasures from Deyo’s mom who worked as a Research Librarian at Disney for a few decades: Her 1978 Disneyland Silver Pass, and a drawing/card which was signed by Peter Ellenshaw, Vance Gerry, Ward Kimball, Sam McKim, and many others Disney artists. Plus, @goofybill was in attendance! It was such a fun morning. 🥰🩷🧡❤️

A fantastic time was had by all at the @labreakfastclub yesterday morning where the @bobbakermarionettes were the featured guests! We loved meeting all of the charming marionettes and the talented team behind the scenes. EggLeggs was grinning from ear to ear, (even though she doesn’t actually have ears). 🩷🧡❤️

HI. Here’s s a photo of me and my friend Ryan aka @fresnoindian. Yesterday when I was panicked with emails and afraid I was losing sight in my right eye — party problems! LOL✨🎉 — Ryan came over and made an entire pot of soup for tonight’s @laastrofest kickoff party with @planets.planets.planets & @marvalarex because obviously what’s a clown party without a batch of vegan smoked corn chowder???

The second photo is Ryan and @kevinsegall who’s also v cool.

Everyone follow @fresnoindian. He’s the best✨

Twice a month I host office hours for over ZOOM for Club Astro members where we share charts & stories, reflect, and ground ourselves for the coming astro weather.

It’s my favorite way to teach astrologer and the most fun I have online✨✨

This season marks thirteen years since my father’s death, and two years since I got in my VW Bug and drove across the country to move to California—a place he always wanted to live.

My father was a mixed bag. He carried an anger that was downright abusive at times, but he could be counted on for one thing: to get in the car and drive, anywhere, at a moment’s notice.

It’s a quality I’ve inherited, and one that’s surprisingly hard to find in others.

Thanks to my pal @rwleather1 for accompanying me on a last minute dental trip to Mexico — and for all the adventure-friends I’ve met over these past two years, including @fresnoindian & my partner (who hates being mentioned on social media).

And thanks to my father, who continues to haunt me in death in ways as complicated as he did when he was alive.

This past Sunday night I learned why people move to Los Angeles: to work with your heroes.

@spookshowla was a dream ✨✨✨

Thanks to @robzabrecky for reminding me why I believe in magic✨

Grid image 2/6 The documentary about her life and the subsequent POP-UP BOOK detailing her incredible home made me DIE to see the place in person. I got to, and, go figure, it doesn’t disappoint!!! (The house is a sentient entity, btw. It creates its own newsletter….)
