Hiya IG… jump on this one. I’ve been really excited and honoured to work with @rebekahlouart - a magnificent dancer, choreographer and visual artist to boot. Rebekah has created a contemporary dance work, and I’ve composed the music. Part 1 of what may become a seven part series. Sat 27 June, at Temperance Hall, South Melbourne xx

Performing Anusha’s original composition ‘Spring’ on Tuesday 7th’s composer special, we are thrilled to welcome ellipsis! Tune in at 7pm to hear this fantastic trio perform!

ellipsis brings together three musicians from unique musical backgrounds: @elllasummers (violin), @freyaparr_ (clarinet) and @lana.raftopoulos (piano). Since forming in 2022, ellipsis have brought chamber music to audiences in concert venues and online with their relatable, ‘storytelling’ approach to music-making and ‘behind the scenes’-style Instagram presence. In 2024, ellipsis gave the world premiere of three new works: ‘Spring’ (Anusha Yellapragada, arrangement for piano trio), ‘How to Let Go’ (Sophia Mackson) and ‘Nebula’ (Daniel Jasper Parr).
