Our Passover table this year was a combination of new friends, lifelong ones, family members and strangers who are now family. That’s being Jewish in NYC ✨💙

Three things we did that were really special:
1. We used a Haggadah from my family Seder from 2024 and were reminded in special prayers from that year to remember the pain from the hostages in Israel and how beautiful it is that many are now free.
2. We all went around and said the three things we would take with us to cross the Red Sea. It was hilarious.
3. We read some beautiful words and reflections written by @blakefonberg who reminded us that we choose with every Seder, decision not to eat bread, and family holiday gathering to be Jewish and why this keeps our people alive.

Happy Passover all 🫓🙏

Thank you to everyone who joined our Evening of Unity with the @friday.tables community on Saturday - it was more beautiful than we ever could have imagined.

Huge shout out to our powerful speakers:

@itaymilner , Consul for Media Affairs Israel Consulate New York
Dr. @dlsteiner87 , Director of ACCESS Global at American Jewish Committee
@eranmordel , Former IDF Paratrooper, 202nd Batallion
@alexa.eden , Founder, EDEN & Community Curator at Olami Manhattan

We raised more than $80,000 for our brothers and sisters in Israel affected by terror and war - and this is only the beginning.

Shout out to our planning committee for huge efforts to pull this off in two weeks: @morgan.raum @alexolevy @ianmillerny @allonmordel @pkorine shiri_kboudi @risendeis @daniellesg__ @benmarans @marge_simpson @jrmsklar @sarahameliawenig

Stay in touch as we continue to support each other and our family in Israel 🇮🇱💙

🧆Taste - the 4th event of our “Five Senses Project.”

Leading up to the largest Havdalah in the world this Spring 2026!

Tonight we explored one of the purest joys: flavor.

Malka treated us to crispy falafel, warm schnitzel, silky hummus, and colorful salads - a full table, a full heart, and a community that always shows up hungry for more. @malkausa #malka #hummus #jewish #nyc #jewyorkcity
