2016 was a HUGE year! I’ve had way too much fun going back through the archives and remembering it all.

It was the year I launched @seriously_milestones (I sold it in 2021) and I jumped full throttle into business mode.

- Influencer marketing
- Stockists (Aust wide and International)
- Features in mags & newspapers
- Markets in Bendigo & Melb
- Collaborating

And basically, a whole lot of learning!

I was very lucky to be surrounded by a community of small business owners who were supportive and shared all of their learnings with me, it also helped that I took to social media like a duck to water.

Personally, I had a 4 and 1 year old and was also going through the process of donating my eggs to my SIL - I still remember driving to Melbourne for a market and pulling over on the side of the road to inject myself with hormones.

I have absolutely NO how I did it all - but there is something about this small business world that gives me an extra energy boost - I still get it today.

I’ve learnt so many lessons over the past 10 years and I love that I get to share those with the brands I work with now. Truly where I am supposed to be.

Your kitchen doesn't have to look like everyone elses'! We're here for clients who think 'let's make a bold tile the star of the show' instead of playing it safe with subway tile.

Nest is for clients who understand that great design requires a little courage and a lot of trust in the vision.

In the spirit of 2024 Wrapped, we’re reflecting on the huge year we’ve had — full of impact, celebration, and making moves.

Here’s our biggest impact and growth hits of 2024 😏
1. We supported 2,209 businesses this year, delivered 5,321 hours of business advice across our programs and incubators, and hosted 60 events to help small businesses thrive.
2. We kicked off two new initiatives — Suburban Spark and SEA, to support even more business owners from diverse areas, and backgrounds.
3. We supported 441 CALD businesses and 24 First Nations and Torres Strait Islander businesses.
4. We ran our first Digital Day Out, one of Victoria’s leading marketing events for small businesses, drawing over 200 businesses from across the state to learn how to stand out online hearing from @sellanythingonline @caitjudd @juleslund @moniquemilenkovic @harrysandersseo
5. We delivered our first-ever regional flood impact event series, helping small businesses affected by the floods rebuild and grow their online presence with better digital marketing strategies.
6. We continued our great engagement with the CALD community and hosted a focused workshop to support migrant entrepreneurs, helping them bring their business ideas to life.
7. We took the lead at some of Victoria’s top small business festivals, including the Geelong Small Business Festival and Maroondah Biz Week, where our events became top sellers.
8. We teamed up with some incredible new partners, including @nbn_australia, @klaviyo, and @lawpath, to scale up our impact and bring even more resources, education, and support to small businesses across the state.

Here’s to an even bigger 2025! We can’t wait to help even more small business owners dream big and achieve even bigger.

We would like to acknowledge our team, board and business advisors who have taken us to where we are today, as well as our partners and stakeholders for their support throughout 2024.

💋 What a day!

🩷 Yesterday I got to hang out with 200 Bendigo business women (and a few men) at the inaugural @bebendigo Women Connect luncheon.

🎤 Our guest speaker for the day was the incredibly knowledgeable Lisa Gorman. With @friendly.savage hosting a Q&A.

🎭 Thanks to Emma from @brightskinbeautyau for her generosity hosting the table. Thanks legend! Such a fun day.

🫱🏻‍🫲🏼🫶🏻 The day was about connection and it was super cool to spend it with 3/4 of our Collab & Connect crew, @seriously_socials @leahladson , we missed you @mediaavenuedesign, ahead of our workshop in 11 days (& counting).

🥂 Such a wonderful opportunity to hang out with my clients too, both past, present and hopefully some newbies in the pipeline. 😉 @hayleytibbett @percyandpercy 🍾

🍸 Then it was on to the @bridgehotelbendigo for some more bevvies, catch ups and laughs & great to see @evedigitalau and @katemonottiphotography too.

🧡 What a community we live in Bendigo!

🐎 The @bendigojockeyclub was the perfect venue

My gorgeous mate @friendly.savage @bryleysavage is currently food tripping about Italy and somehow managing to visit bookstores and find Eleanor in amongst the cooking and eating 🥰📕 🇮🇹 🍝- so this drawing of @il_bibliomotocarro is just for her! And I’m going to have to make a special reel with the awesome videos and pics she’s been sending too because there’s something wonderful about Italian bookstores (Italian everything?!)

A bold kitchen for a bold client! I knew I could push some boundaries with my client and while we could have gone safe with the wall tiles, these punchy and geometric tiles were the perfect pairing!
