Ran for a cause, reunited with familiar faces, made new memories, AND brought home some hardware! 🏃🏼‍♀️🏅💛

Today’s 5K for cancer was extra special! Finally got to meet an online friend IRL and reconnect with people I haven’t seen since I first started my running journey. Talk about a full-circle moment! 🥹

Oh, and did I mention I placed 𝟑𝐑𝐃 𝐈𝐍 𝐌𝐘 𝐀𝐆𝐄 𝐆𝐑𝐎𝐔𝐏?! 🥉 Not too shabby for a Sunday morning!

Grateful for how far I’ve come, the amazing people running has brought into my life, and the opportunity to run for something bigger than myself. Here’s to more miles, more friendships, and more finish lines! 💛

We ran, we danced, and we cleaned Hollywood Beach together.

Thank you for making our 4th Annual Empowering Children 5K one to remember. See you next year!

Woke up this morning just feeling blessed. ❤️ Blessed to be alive and blessed that my body is able to move and do the things I love.

What fills my cup? Running with the good people, getting those miles in with my FIT friends, and going to F45. 🏃🏽‍♀️💪🏽

Sometimes you just have to stop and appreciate the simple things… being able to move your body, laugh with good people, and do the things that make you happy.

Friends In Training will be at the start line, and they’re bringing their whole crew.

September 20 is World Cleanup Day, so we’re doing what we do best. Our Empowering Children 5K and 1 Mile at sunrise on Hollywood Beach, then a beach cleanup at 10. Run it, walk it, or come for the cleanup alone. That part is free and open to anyone.

If you aren’t registered, comment RUN, and let’s get you signed up!

Did you know?

There will be live drumming during the race on September 20. Feminafrika and Blue Sea Lotus Studio 33 are drumming for our runners and hosting free drumming lessons for anyone who wants to try.

Friends In Training is here too, and they’ve been in our corner a long time. They’ll have a tent at the race and a lot of their members on the course.

Vivagen Health donated two value cards to our raffle. And because September 20 is also World Cleanup Day, Filthy Organics is running composting demonstrations using the fruit from the event, so you can see what happens to scraps when they don’t go in the trash.

Go show them all some love. @friendsintraining · @feminafrika_ · @bluesealotusstudio33 · @vivagenhealth · @filthy.organics

🏃🏽‍♀️🌎❤️ WITH MY RUNNING ALMA MATER - FIT!

It was wonderful to present our Empowering Children 5K & 1-Mile Run/Walk + Beach Clean Up, in observance of World Cleanup Day, to my running family at FIT.

The presentation took place at Runner’s Depot during FIT’s New Season Sign-Up.

I first joined FIT in 2014, and since then, we’ve accumulated thousands of miles together running, training, traveling, and creating so many memories along the way. 🏃🏽‍♀️✈️❤️

Today, those miles mean even more. FIT isn’t just accumulating miles with me anymore; they are also walking and running alongside @healtheplanet, supporting our nonprofit and its mission on many occasions. 🌎💚

It’s beautiful when a running family becomes part of something bigger than the miles.

Thank you, FIT, for your continued support! ❤️🙏🏽

Sunday was more than just a Summer Splash—it was a D.R.F -DONATE.RUN.FUN beautiful day! A reminder of the power of community.

💙 Coming together with local run clubs to support those affected by the earthquake in Colombia was truly meaningful. Grateful to be part of a day filled with movement, kindness, and giving back. 🇨🇴🤍 #run #giveback #colombia 🇨🇴 #runclub #together @runadic @jesspr @friendsintraining

A summer Sunday full of people with good vibes and energy.

3 miles next to DJ music, then a light breakfast to start enjoying the sun and the pool.
