Is my heart so happy? Yes!

A little chilly and a little rainy but people still showed up. For a run. A walk. And some ice cream.

They fill my cup. Oh and my headphones also make me happy 🤣 I looooove my @shokzusa dots 💕

And a reminder, that we should celebrate during the month but we should also keep celebrating our heritage every day 🇲🇽

Saw the challenge before October started and I thought about it.

Then October started and so did I. This month has been about making time for me. Trying to find my balance again.

Some days have been easier than others but I'm glad I did it. It's time to double down and go for the other 9 for 20 before the end of the month

The benefits of this: making the gym a regular thing for me. Even on the days I don't want to because I appreciate it so much more.

I feel stronger.

I am challenging myself.

And I feel better than I have in a while.

I'll take these benefits.

The Chicago marathon was different for me this year. This time around I had more friends cheering me on and that meant so much to me 🫶🏽
Most importantly, my kids got to cheer for me and watch their mom get through hard things (and times) 🥹
I also seen a lot of you guys on the course and that pushed me to go harder 💪🏽
Shoutout to those who continue to be by my side and who motivate me to be better.
And thank you to all the run clubs who have welcomed me with open arms and allow me to be part of their community 🫰🏽
