H2H birthday game!!

I wore a blindfold, each flyer in turn did a H2H with me, and I guessed who is who. To make it extra difficult, they added a few extra people I wasn’t expecting, and everyone climbed in off of another person so I wouldn’t feel their climb into 2high.

Turns out it was really hard 😂. But lots of fun 🤩. Thanks to everyone who played the game!! And thanks to our great spotters for keeping everyone safe!

Thanks to @marpascote for the inspiration!

Dearest friends in Vancouver,

It has been a most splendid 2.5 years in Vancouver. It was such a hard decision to move with how great the community, Acro, work, and friends are!! From my dream job in high performance cardiac rehab, and teaching Acro, to funny-themed gatherings, music sing alongs, cafe art hangouts, biking everywhere, crafting with friends, learning new skills like pottery, mid-day walks with my neighbour; living in Vancouver has been a true delight!

The love and care we have received over the last 4 months was incredible. Food deliveries, friend hangouts, assistance with baby holding and packing/moving, and excitement to meet the Little Dude! I heard the few weeks postpartum can feel really lonely and challenging, and that was so truly helped by you beautiful friends.

Thank you. From the bottom of my heart, thank you!

Please visit us on the Island! 🏝️

For @friesnotsalad and @mark.king.ston’s debut class, we’ll be focusing on Russian rolls; a low F2H skill where the base completes a full log roll on the ground whilst keeping the flyer in a F2H. We’ll be covering some F2H basics & some pathway progressions that will help to get you rolling like a Russian!

This video encapsulates so many of the aspects of partner acrobatics that keeps me coming back for more 🥰

- connection and communication with others
- movement
- connection with self
- celebrating successes, not just within your immediate group, but your tribe!

The fact that @theacropilot and @lilymariie came over to celebrate is the physical embodiment of what is happening all over @acroyogacampout with people lifting each other up. 🫶

What isn’t in this video are the excellent instruction by @john.mvmt and @alice.in.acroland ; the encouragement to base, and then helpful tips and superb spotting by @moodster01 ; positive feedback and love from @friesnotsalad ; hype squad and beautiful container created to play at CampOut. 💫

I just fricken love partner acrobatics so much!! Thank you friends 💕
