So I Just got a Dm from @thejackadocofficial and at the same time I was standing over my jewelry tray full of random personal jewelry, so as I’m standing there 1 of 2 custom “Ar” sample pieces stood out at me that I made years back so i decided id bless all Jacka fans wit a 50 years of Bay Area hip hop fact. So originally I made “The Jacka” a 1 of a kind hand made Jacka belt buckle and a “Ar” logo pendant for himself that I’m sure y’all seen in the “Gobots” music video. Then some years after, I don’t remember where we were riden or chillin he said he wanted to do the “Ar” logo as a custom jewelry collab between me and him. So I made 2 samples pieces, 1 I gave Jack and this is the other one right here. Jack approved the sample, so we were supposed to collab and I was gonna start out making 200 pieces of these right here so we can release for the fans to purchase. Due to Jack being on tour, we both lagged with puttin the funds for production together and dropping the release for y’all. Then finally we were gettin ready to put it on production and he passed 🙏🏾 The collab that never happened, would have been my favorite Jewelry Collab I’ve done with an artist/friend. But the time came and went. Starting Jack’s detail, before I cut out the rest of those big areas. If I cut out all the big areas first, it will weaken it to much while cutting the detail which will cause it to bend or break. And we don’t want that! When I do these pieces my formula is just go, planning every cut, or numbering where to start is some bullshit. Attack all the basic solid areas, then I’ll sit back and calculate, the next more technical areas. And after that is all the highly detailed areas, I’ll take a few moments to look at what is to small and needs to connected to other major pieces.
