Really proud of how this tattoo turned out at the @bigtattooburnup Exeter Tattoo Convention. 🖤🔥
The feedback from tattoo artists and customers has been incredible, and I’m genuinely grateful.
First, my wife, Lily. ❤️
Everything was possible because of her. My job was to tattoo she took care of everything else. She was the main force behind the whole weekend, and I couldn’t have done it without her.
Massive respect to my client 3 hours of travel and two full days sitting like a rock. Absolute legend. 👊
And a big thank you to the @bigtattooburnup team. What a show! Everything was organised brilliantly, right down to the smallest details.
Proud of the tattoo. Proud of the weekend.
See you at the next one. 🔥

Funny how most of us carry a dark passenger within us.
We keep it restrained, hide it behind a smile, and let it sleep through most of the day… until we’re alone with ourselves, and reality gives it something to feed on.

This tattoo was disqualified from the Black & Grey category and moved to the Colour category because it was assumed I used Opaque Grey which I didn’t. I used grey wash, as I always do.

How unprofessional to ruin two days of someone’s hard work and dedication based on an assumption without proof.

As a judge, you should know the difference between Opaque Grey and grey wash. But how can a Black & Grey tattoo compete against Colour tattoos in the Colour category? How is that even possible? 😡

Only I know how much effort I put in and I’m extremely proud of this piece and the amazing feedback I received throughout those two days, especially seeing how happy my client was. ❤️
