With the warm prolonged summer months now coming to a close the arrival of the damper weather has meant the grass has sprung up and is being cut to supplement the winter rations already in stock 😊. Views of oncoming sunsets like this make the job even better too 😊 weekend in sight folks 🤗🤗🤗

Some of our lovely mums enjoying the burst alfalfa bags from a bagging session during the summer months 😊, I think all of team at HQ would swap this sky for the brutal showers that we have had today 😬. Logs, alfalfa and other timber all outbound today, and weekend in sight folks 🤗🤗🤗

There have been some intermittent showers and intermittent sunshine at HQ today, and as a result, locally grown beans have been delivered in for drying. Not too damp on arrival but will benefit from a reduction in moisture content before crushing to form a high protein feed for winter. Much of the alfalfa bagged yesterday is outbound today too, we hope you guys enjoy it 😋🤗🤗🤗

A familiar sight to many followers we are sure, looking down a tractor bonnet, especially as the summer comes to a close and autumn starts to make an appearance 😊. Here some grass seeds are being drilled and rolled in one of the rare drier moments this week. Lets hope there are a couple more before winter sets in! 🤗🤗🤗

Next years oilseed rape is now in the ground and doing its stuff 😊 but we couldn't resist this sunset photo of cultivations taking place a few weeks ago. It has been a little damper these last few days but we were lucky enough to have some evenings like this in the hot spell last summer. Lets hope for some September evenings that are the same 🤞🤗🤗🤗

Still dry at HQ so far this week, but not quite as dry as this day baling hay earlier this year, but a much more manageable temperature for working in. Heavy rain and thunderstorms forecast for the end of the week so its been a busy day cleaning out and sorting the combine for its winter hibernation. To finish tomorrow- weather depending! 🤗🤗🤗

Happy Fridays everyone, well done on another week done 😊. We have been bagging logs today, mucking out loose housing and prepping blockstone from the quarry to head out next week. One thing we have noticed, and you may well have too, is the nights drawing in, but the upside is sunsets like this 🤩 we hope you guys get to enjoy it too 🤗🤗🤗
