@frizzfest was SUCH a vibe 🤩

I cannot explain how good the energy was 🌻☀️🌺😎 There was something for everyone! My mom had fun, I had fun, the kids had fun, we all had fun!!

It was an inspiring celebration of black culture, joy, and excellence. I saw lots of familiar faces and connected with some new folks as well.

Thank you to @frizzybynature and to all the vendors, volunteers, sponsors, and everyone who had a hand in making this event possible! In these challenging times it was so nice to be in community and love on my people 🙏🏾❤️

Until next year ✌🏾🫶🏾

Y’all saw me try it… so of course I had to see who else wanted the smoke. 😂🔥
🏷️TAG THE CONTESTANTS 🏷️

The Volume Boost Lip Plump Challenge was officially activated at @frizzfest — and these ladies came in CONFIDENT. 😭

Not your lil sister’s lip plumper. It’s for the BIG GWURLZ💅🏾💅🏾💅🏾💅🏾💅🏾💅🏾💅🏾💅🏾

The challenge was simple: try Volume Boost and see who could last the longest without tapping out. 👀🔥

Some stood on business.
Some immediately reconsidered their decisions. 😂
And ONE took the crown. 👑

Would YOU take the challenge? 🔥💋

Nine years in, Frizz Fest is still providing space.✨

The annual celebration of natural hair and Black culture brought 70 vendors to Tower Grove Park this year, with vendors bringing in about $100,000 last year.

More than a year after Missouri’s CROWN Act took effect, the celebration is also keeping the conversation around natural hair, representation, and inclusion going.

Seven elements. Seven stories. One beautiful vision.

At Frizz Fest, @healthyhairsolutions_, @whisperstyleteam_, designers &’ all creatives brought nature to life through fashion, hair, artistry &’ individuality:

🌿 Mother Nature
🦋Garden of Eden
🌸 Bloom
💧 Water
🌬️ Wind
🔥 Fire
🌎 Earth

Each element carried its own energy, beauty &’ expression. Together, they created something even more powerful. Watching each model embody their element &’ seeing all of our looks come together on one runway was truly a beautiful experience.

I’m incredibly grateful to everyone involved for creating a space where beauty &’ artistry could flourish.

The artists behind the look: designer @veroshaus & stylist @thesirglamourotti, whose vision brought the Garden of Eden to life &’ made every detail feel as phenomenal as it looked. 💖

Different elements. Different visions. One unforgettable experience. 🌿✨

@frizzfest 2026 was a celebration of hair, fashion, culture, artistry, and community &’ I’m honored to have been one of the elements. 🌺✨
