The project, situated at Soldiers Hills 4, Molino, Bacoor, Cavite, is a perfect encapsulation of Van der Rohe's classic dictum, "𝙇𝙚𝙨𝙨 𝙞𝙨 𝙢𝙤𝙧𝙚." To be constructed in place of an existing structure, the four-bedroom residence will house three bedrooms on the second level and a ground floor master bedroom. In addition, it features ample carport space that can accommodate three vehicles. The surrounding exterior spaces, designed to be used and occupied, shall allow the optimization of natural light and ventilation. After a series of changes, the design of the client's ideal home has emerged from the rigorous, thorough process of revisions. Inspired by Japanese minimalism, the façade captures the principles of "𝘼𝙢𝙤𝙧 𝙑𝙖𝙘𝙪𝙞𝙞" or 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙡𝙤𝙫𝙚 𝙤𝙛 𝙚𝙢𝙥𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙚𝙨𝙨. With its simplicity and unadorned neatness, the home emphasizes not the objects, but the expanse of negative space surrounding them. PROPOSED RENOVATION OF ST. JOHN THE EVANGELIST CHAPEL, IMUS, CAVITE SETYEMBRE NA! AMOY PASKO NA! More than anybody else in the world, the Christmas season in the Philippines begins with saying the word "BER" month and it literally starts with September. The client desires to have the existing chapel to be renovated and be prepared before the start of the advent season in December. The work involves repainting the overall exterior, redesigning the altar, and creating a trompe l'oeil painting on its conical ceiling. The team added more visualizations, particularly on its the entrance where you can find three-layered roofing signifying the Holy Trinity. The chapel grounds were also enhanced by putting pathways, additional seats, bollards, and another lighting which will offer comfort to church-goers, especially during the "Simbang-Gabi season or ordinary masses during the night. ILAGAN ROOFTOP RESTO BAR Dining, particularly outdoors gained immense popularity over the past years due to the pandemic- and it's an even more exciting experience enjoying good food while literally being on top of a buzzing neighborhood. Located on the busy streets of Alapan- Imus, Cavite, this structure features a different approach to facade retrofitting and as well as business marketing through architectural design. The owners of the two-storey commercial building desire to give life on their property's rooftop by creating a resto-bar that will offer varieties of food and drinks, activities, and a different means of spending the night with friends and families. The façade uses operable steel and aluminum louvers that function as solar shade for the building's second level. The rooftop is also accentuated by "egg-shaped" roofing with outdoor LED strip-lights that resemble vines growing upwards on their vertical support. ______________________________________________________________________ 🗣 "WE DON'T JUST BUILD DREAMS, WE BUILD TRUST." December: Dedicated to Delightful People 3/31✨ Francene!!! An architect in the making! We personally didn’t interact as much, but I watched how you carry yourself into a room. Cool and chic, that’s the impression I get whenever I see you. And I’ve always loved seeing your artworks on Instagram, some you may have deleted or archived, but I truly admired them. I can’t wait to see you create more beautiful artworks, beautiful buildings! Keep it up! You have a beautiful mind and I do pray that you overcome the thoughts that overwhelms you at times! God bless always!
