From Slovenia to France, Spain, Italy, China, and finally back home. 🌍

That was my journey after the World Championships in the USA. A long and exhausting one, not just because of all the travelling, but also because of everything going through my mind. I kept wondering if I was doing something wrong.

Looking back, this was one of those seasons where I often felt something was missing. Mainly focus and that extra bit of strength when it mattered most. My runs were actually pretty solid, but at almost every race, one big mistake would sneak in and cost me a place in the final. And when that keeps happening, it’s hard to accept. Especially when you know you’re close, but somehow can’t put all the pieces together.

Despite everything, I finished the season in the top 10 of the overall World Cup standings, with a medal at the beginning of the season as well. But as an athlete, you always want more.

Outside the water, this year was something else. I enjoyed it a lot, but I also struggled. Balancing family, our new hotel, training, and racing brought so many beautiful moments and new experiences, but also a lot of tiredness and that constant feeling of needing to be in several places at once. Sometimes, the hardest part was simply being fully present wherever I was.

But that’s my life right now. And even though it’s not always easy, I’m grateful for everything I have and everything we’re building together.

I still feel like I’m not done with this sport yet. At the same time, I can feel my body responding a little differently these days, especially with everything else going on. I’m learning to adapt, when to push harder, and when to take a step back. More than anything, I want to keep enjoying the sport that’s been such a big part of my life for so many years.

No big promises or predictions. Just one training session at a time, one race at a time, and making the most of every opportunity. As long as I still feel that fire and the joy of being on the water, I have a reason to keep going.

A little weekend magic ✨

There’s something so special about escaping for a few days, slowing down, and letting nature do its thing. The magical shades of the Soča River, misty mornings, fresh air, and my favourite people by my side. 🤍

A gentle reminder that sometimes, all you need is a little getaway to recharge, reconnect, and come back feeling a little more like yourself. 🌿

We arrived with a lot on our minds and left four days later feeling as though time had slowed down just for us—surrounded by misty landscapes, the emerald Soča River and the kind of peace you wish you could bottle up and take home with you. 🤍

Tucked away in the beautiful Most na Soči, @from.tulie felt like a little world of its own. A beautiful hotel in an even more beautiful setting, where we slept so well, ate so well, and spent four precious days simply enjoying being together.

There’s something truly magical about waking up to mist floating over the lake, watching the landscape slowly come to life, and having nowhere to be and nothing to rush for.

A little family escape that reminded us how good it feels to slow down, breathe deeply and just be.

If you’re looking for a place to disconnect from the everyday rush and reconnect with what matters, this might just be it. ✨

Hotel Tu’lie is another inspiring hospitality story close to home, where vision, nature, and technology come together to create a unique and authentic guest experience.

Vikend na off, vikend za naju ❤️❤️❤️. Slaba kamera na telefonu, se slabsa roka, ki kamero drzi…ampak jest sem hotla pofotkat vse 😃😂, ker je norooo😊. Tilen me je mel ze mal dost in rekel, naj ze odlozim telefon in samo uzivam. In imel je prav. Nobena fotka ne more pokazat tega kar Tu’Lie dozivis. Tu’Lie se cas ustavi. Tu’ Lie se razvajas, Tu’Lie te razvajajo, Tu’Lie so detajli, Tu’Lie je ljubezen…Tu’Lie moras dozivet ❤️❤️❤️😊🌞😊. @Taja in Luka Tu’Lie sta vidva in vsi vajini. @from.tulie hvala za nepozaben vikend ❤️❤️❤️. Se pridemo…ker tole je zgodba, ki se ni zakljucena in komaj cakam na vse vajine ideje, ki se cakajo na realizacijo 😃🌞🙌😊❤️. Komaj cakam novih zgodb, ki pospremijo vsako jed, ki jo postrezejo,…zgodb iz ust lokalnih in srcnih mladcev, ki Taji in Luku pomagajo soustvarjat tale Raj na zemlji …na najlepsem koncu Slovenije #mostnasoci. Veselim se, da za zajtrk nisem uspela poskusit vseh sladkih in slanih pit, ki jih pripravlja vsak dan sproti srcni gospodic, ki samozavestno in s sirokim nasmehom sprejme moje komplimente, ker zajtrk je res epski…in on to ve. In jajck na vse mozne nacine, pa vse lokalne dobrote, ki jih tako cute zapakirajo…tule pri Tu’lie res jes z ocmi 😍. Pa kar nekaj cocktailov imajo zame se na to do listi🍹. Eh, grem sanjat, ker tale post lahko se nestetokrat popravim pa ne bom zajela vseh obcutkov. #pejte sami probat…avgusta verjetno tezko dobite frej sobo za vec dni, poglejte kaj je se prosto v septembru ali kasneje, ampak na zajtrk ali vecerjico vas sigurno se lahko sprejmejo. Soca pa je tu pod Tu’Lie ravnopravsnja da se lepo ohladis in tudi malcek dlje plavas kot npr. visje pri velikih ali malih koritih v Trenti.
