One of those Toronto traditions you should experience once is the annual CNE with @letsgototheex over August 21 to September 7. Reminiscent of a carnival like you see on North American TV shows but on steroids. Historically founded in 1879, it’s continued to be one of the country’s largest community fairs - packed with vendors, rides and food truck food for days. There’s also concerts and an air show if you go during Labour Day weekend. Our competitive natures got sucked into paying for some games (ranging from $2-$5 at most) which felt like at the end of the day lowkey a bit like gambling, all for the sake of a stuffed animal. We did spend the day with some dear kiddos though and tbh, it was nice to see them enjoy themselves and for us to be big kids again 🎠🎡
