Don’t let your purpose override your passion!
Some folks are blessed to do multiple things, and that’s okay. Focus on your purpose, walk in your passion, and trust God to handle the rest.

You don’t have to limit yourself to one gift when God has equipped you for multiple assignments.

Special thanks to @armourie.official x @fromthayard for coming through the Culturally Distinct Podcast! #

We appreciate you sharing your time, energy, and perspective with us.

Thanks @topgolf

The Yard called, and I answered... 📲

Southern University Homecoming 2026 was definitely a true highlight! 🩵💛

From being a featured panelist for the @subrmasscomm Mixer to receiving a proclamation, vending at the Alumni Day Party with @fromthayard & @voilaclous , and stepping into @lacumbaslair for connections and curated conversations. I enjoyed the game and, of course, experiencing the incomparable @su_humanjukebox ! ☝🏽

Special thanks to Ms. Brown of the Mass Comm Department, @gedafountaine of the Southern University Alumni Federation, Ebony, curator of LaCumba's Lair, and my mother (@caligirl3981 ), who was there with me through it all! Love you, Lil Shay! ❤️

To everyone who welcomed me back with so much love THANK YOU And to Southern University, thank you for allowing me to continue to serve, create, connect, and represent.

Sharing my story with Voyage Houston (@voyagehouston ) was truly special. 💙💛

From forming and producing From Tha Yard (@fromthayard ) to stepping behind the mic as its host, this journey has always been bigger than a show.

It’s about pouring back into Southern (@southernu_br ) and creating a safe space for Jaguars to share their journey, and shining a light on the legacy they’re building long after leaving The Yard.

I’m grateful for the opportunity to share the heart behind From Tha Yard and the why behind what I do.
