Last week was an amazing kickoff to our summer pop-up series at the Brooklyn Children’s Museum!

Our young bakers were front and center, serving the community smiles and cinnamon rolls—that couldn’t stay on our shelves 😋☺️

We showed up and sold out, and we’re doing it all again this week! We’re back this Thursday + Saturday from 11am to 4pm at @bcmkids—and yes, pre-orders are already rolling in 👏🏾

👀 Did you place your order yet?
📦 Pre-order now to skip the sell-out—link in bio
🗓️ Save the dates and stop by!

We’re popping up again—but this time, we’re bringing the warmth to the Brooklyn Children’s Museum @bcmkids ! 👧🏾👦🏻🤎🥖

We’ll be there every Thursday and Saturday from 11am to 5pm through August 30th—come through for cinnamon rolls, galettes, focaccia, oatmeal bread, and more. We’re excited to create another space where inclusivity is the norm and not the exception 🧑‍🧑‍🧒‍🧒

Pre-orders for Focaccia, Cinnamon Rolls, and Oatmeal Bread will be open by the morning —link will be in bio to place your order.

Sharing some flicks from a past pop-up, but come through to the museum and help us make more sweet moments ☺️✨
New location, same energy, more delicious treats 🥖🥧😋

From the kitchen to the counter — and across the city 🥖🚙🤎💨

Our team spent the week baking, packing, and delivering fresh loaves to each @aesop location across Manhattan and Brooklyn 👩🏻‍🍳🧑🏽‍🍳👨🏾‍🍳

With thoughtfulness and care in every step, and even some helpful hands from our kids, this was a true Kindred effort 👏🏾✨

Thank you to Aesop for this beautiful Body & Bread partnership and for welcoming us into your stores! Stop by any of their 11 locations, grab something special for mom today, and enjoy a Mother’s Day loaf from us — made with love 💜🤎

FOR THOSE WHO FEEL LIKE THEY’RE JUST SURVIVING…

There is a place for you.

You ever had to choose death to live?

Life will always bring circumstances, but I realized that to truly be present and make it through, I had to allow parts of me to die—not to be lost forever, but to transform into what was needed for that season.

Some called it being a Boss.
Some labeled it being a Boy Mom or Tomboy.
For others, it looked like Strength.

But the truth? It was Survival.

Just like armor in battle, different seasons require different artillery. Those parts of you didn’t die—they’re just dormant. And now? It’s time to wake them UP!

🔥 God is here to restore what had to die so you could live! 🔥

It’s time to speak to those dry bones (Ezekiel 37) and step into full restoration!

You don’t have to just survive. Join me—let’s activate, restore, and step into the life waiting for you!

In this political climate, as we face a repeat of extreme social injustices in America, it is our duty as a community to keep programs like this going. It is our responsibility to create and sustain spaces that keep us knowledgeable, connected, safe, and forever growing.

Our Plug-In Communiversity: Electricity Workshop was a success! ⚡🔌 The Prime Factors team @primefactorslab did their thing, and we all walked away with a deeper understanding of how electricity flows—literally and figuratively. From learning how circuits work to the hands-on wiring activities, this session was both fun and incredibly valuable.

We’re excited to keep this partnership and platform going! Stay tuned for more events with Prime Factors Learning Lab and other Communiversity sessions featuring creatives, academic partners, and hands-on experiences designed to empower and educate our community. 😉

📸 Swipe through to check out highlights from the workshop! If you missed this one, don’t worry—we have more on the way. 💡✨

There’s a difference between Showing Up and Showing Up With CARE 🩷

You can be Present —dressed, in the room, ready to go. But how you wear that presence Matters.

When you SHOW UP with CARE, there’s EASE, CONFIDENCE, and AUTHENTICITY.

It’s the difference between simply putting on clothes and intentionally STYLING yourself to reflect who you truly are.

Today, ask yourself: Am I just Showing Up, or am I Showing Up as my FULL SELF?

🎉 Cohort 4 has officially launched! 🎉

We’re thrilled to announce the start of our Saturday program at our new space in collaboration with Erasmus HS Academy of Hospitality and Tourism! 🍞✨

This week, our participants had the incredible opportunity to work with Chef Alex, who traveled all the way from Switzerland to teach us how to make Basler Läckerli and Badener Chrääberli – introducing new, exciting flavor profiles that were a huge hit!

A big thank you to the amazing students and administrators at Erasmus AOHT for welcoming us so warmly into their space. Together, we’re shaping skills, building confidence, and expanding horizons one delicious bite at a time!

Stay tuned for more highlights from this program. 💪🍪
