Revisited @_danirowe_’s For Pixie several times last season (gala, tour, main stage) after our film debut in 2021. Such a special duet to revisit. Thanks to the OG’s @laura__moves and @brettaconway for the guidance.

🦢Performance casting for @balletidaho’s Swan Lake is out!
I’m incredibly honored to share that I’ll be the role of Odette for our entire run.
I have the privilege of dancing with two wonderful partners as Prince Siegfried:
Justin Hughes @obi_wang_kenobi
▪️Thursday May 4 at 7:30
▪️Saturday May 6 at 2pm
and Benjamin Freemantle @benjamin.freemantle
▪️Friday May 5 at 7:30
▪️Saturday May 6 at 7:30
▪️Sunday May 7 at 2

In addition, I get to share the stage one last time with the magnificent artists and friends that are @jessicamoves and @lizzybarreto. Do NOT miss their last performances, my debut as Odette, the talent that is Benjamin, Justin’s incredible work, and the power that is our corps de ballet with the Boise Philharmonic. Ticket link in my bio! 🎫

Here it is! @balletidaho’s promo video for our upcoming and final production of the 22/23 season, Swan Lake, with the @boisephil May 4-7 at @morrisoncenter!
🦢 This will be my debut as Odette - a dream role for me that I wasn’t ever sure I’d get the opportunity to tackle. I love this ballet; the music, the story, the work it requires of each and every person on stage (and off) to make it work. Get your tickets through the link in my bio or through www.balletidaho.org.
Please feel free to comment and share the video! 🖤

🔹 Prelude: A Series 🔹

Without the presence of light, ballet would merely be dancers moving in the dark. Join us as we explore Ghost(Light) and the power of illumination with Matt Miller (@mmiller1499), Lighting Designer of @_craig_davidson’s neoclassical work built for @balletidaho.

Read the exclusive interview through link in bio.

...
Behind the scenes of every polished work presented under bright shiny lights is a tangled thread of false starts, alternate paths, and unexpected inspirations.

This is the 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝗹𝘂𝗱𝗲.

It is in the prelude that some of the purest magic of art and creativity can be found. En Face Magazine is proud to celebrate these scattered collisions and the smattering of thoughts that lead to the works we already love or cannot wait to see.

Being able to film and edit this @visitidaho “Beyond Words” piece was an amazing experience and I’m super thankful for the opportunity. I learned a ton and have a developed new ways to approach filming in more extreme environments. Here’s to more with the @frontrunnerfilmsllc crew and I hope you get out and #VisitIdaho
