Outdoor Track 2026 🫶🏃🏼‍♀️✨

If you look to the end of this post, you will see a picture of me after one of the many times I’ve collapsed during a race this year. This has been going on throughout my entire senior year, continuously pushing me back both physically and mentally. Because of what I had been going through, I had many doors closed on me, numerous questions left unanswered, opportunities missed, and I couldn’t do what I loved to do most.

Many in this position would have given up after struggling for so long. I myself wondered every day when this would be over! To others, it might have appeared like I wouldn’t race like myself again.

But I knew it wasn’t the end! It was just a period of time that I could spend growing in other ways and focusing on my health. I shifted my focus from dwelling on the things I couldn’t control to working on the things I could. I worked on my nutrition, sleep, mental health, and love for the process- especially when it felt the most hopeless!!

One week ago I earned my third state title, becoming State Champion in the 1600 and winning the 4x800 relay with my teammates. We also got to celebrate a team state title, which every girl worked super hard towards!!! It meant so much to finish this chapter with such an amazing group of people 🥰💖

If I’ve learned one thing this year, it is that you can always find light in the darkness. Thank you to everyone who has supported me and lifted me up this wild year!! It truly is darkest before the dawn ❤️❤️❤️
