I had the pleasure of capturing some of the most beautiful events in the past year, one of them being CAIM 🏰
@caimatslane curated by @jenncellis / @apsara.studio, @liu.matilda / @themeeting.point and presented by @officialslanecastle was an exhibition that brought 19 Irish and international contemporary artists to the stunning Slane Castle.

I will never forget this experience and the incredible people I met over the 3 days back in September 2025!

𝘐𝘯𝘥𝘰𝘯𝘦𝘴𝘪𝘢 𝘈𝘳𝘵 𝘞𝘰𝘳𝘭𝘥: 𝘋𝘳. 𝘔𝘦𝘭𝘢𝘯𝘪 𝘚𝘦𝘵𝘪𝘢𝘸𝘢𝘯’𝘴 𝘈𝘳𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘷𝘦 1977–2022 is a 3-volume book chronicling 45 years of Indonesian art history through the lens of 𝐃𝐫. 𝐌𝐞𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐢 𝐒𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐰𝐚𝐧. What began as a personal habit of documenting moments grew into an archive of over 100,000 photographs capturing artists, curators, gallerists, art enthusiasts and key art events at home and abroad. Accompanied by essays by Jim Supangkat, Agus Dermawan T., Christine Cocca, and Hendro Wiyanto, the book examines the unique role of the “Mother of Indonesian Artists” and traces developments in photographic practice itself.⁣

Happy New Year! May 2026 be the best year of your life — or at least bring you some small joys and warm times with friends.

We would not be here today without all the friends we made along the way. Here’s a quick look back on our 2025, featuring 3 art fairs, 12 gallery exhibitions, and a good amount of complicated installs that kept us on our toes.

We would also like to pay our respects to our dearly departed friend, Chuah Chong Yan (@chongyanchuah), who left us on 20th December 2025. He was an extremely talented and prolific artist who, despite his immense productivity in his lifetime, still should have had more time on this earth.

We wish you all joy and light in the year ahead and may art bring you some comfort from your troubles. Our gallery remains closed for a break while we fine tune our programming for 2026. More updates soon.

Who’s excited for 2026? We are—especially with Singapore Art Week less than a month away! From 22 to 31 January, Objectifs transforms into a playground for photography, film, and public art, showcasing collaborations between Singaporean and Japanese artists, alongside the vision of past and present Curator Open Call recipients. Explore exhibitions across our indoor and outdoor spaces, and catch a newly commissioned video project lighting up the screens of Wilkie Edge and Fortune Centre.

Highlights include:
👉 Curator Open Call 2025 recipient Dylan Chan’s exhibition, featuring artists Daniel Chong, Marvin Tang, Jo Ho, and Priyageetha Dia
👉 Exposure_Exposure, an outdoor sculptural exhibition co-curated by Daniel Chong and Dylan Chan with public works by Chok Si Xuan, Grace Tan, Ian Tee, PG Lee, and Sookoon Ang
👉 A cross-cultural dialogue between Singaporean and Japanese artists curated by Wang Ruobing (Comma Space) and Yutaka Inagawa
👉 Urban Screens by interdisciplinary duo Perception3, presenting new video art on Wilkie Edge and Fortune Centre

Join us for the opening of these exhibitions on 20 Jan, 6pm to 8pm, with guests of honour Ms Ning Chong, founder of @fofa.asia and Objectifs board member, and Ms Kawabe Aiko, Director of Japan Creative Centre and Counsellor at the Embassy of Japan in Singapore.

What is time? How do we experience it? How does it affect our lives? These have long been questions artists have tried to answer, however implicitly. 💚 I'm in great company - thanks to my fellow artists it is so wonderful to show alongside you, and so brilliant to meet some of you across the various events, I hope our paths cross again. 1. We are Here and So are You (2025), new weavings made with linen and metal fixings, shown for the first time at Slane Castle in the corridor between two spaces.

2. Winding, then Winding (2023), linen weaving made in the first three months of my son's life, commissioned by & first exhibited @ccadld

3. Circling (2023), linen weaving which I started with my mum on the first day of my show at CCA Derry~Londonderry and finished after her passing.
