Washington D.C. rapper Fru (@fruishere) speaks on his past on the streets of "Georgia Ave" in his second single of 2021. Fru reminisces about the dangers of the streets as well as the dangers from critics and artists who don't give the rap medium its proper due as an artform. Contributing writer Daniel Warren Hill (@danielwarrenhill) notes how important voices like Fru's are as the global music scene continues to evolve in today's post. No you are most likely not going crazy, but you aren't alone in feeling that way. No you are not alone, but you aren't alone in feeling that way either. In the official music video for Fru's "So Crazy" you'll see this Washington DC rapper and hip-hop artist questioning his sanity and how he came to grapple with the intense and often overwhelming feelings that have come from the events of the past year. It's a relatable experience filmed from a very closed-in perspective inside Fru's home, which only helps to highlight the anxiety conveyed through the track's deeply emotional lyrics.
