Story time: I originally wrote this character for my Groundlings Writing Lab. And thanks to a little coaxing from my mentor @mikechatxma and acting coach/guru extraordinaire @leslykahn, I ended up turning it into a short film! Thanks @jewslovetrees for showing up pretty much last minute to shoot this! I could not have asked for a better scene partner😂🙌 and a huge thanks to @slynematic for filming and editing this! When Sly asked me what I wanted this project to be called, my first thought was to just call it “Dangerous” (the name of the song) but, in the last year or so I have been feeling this radical shedding of my old self/skin and what is important to me as a creative.
I’m prioritizing what feels genuine to me regardless of how “popular” or “trending” it is currently.
I’m celebrating how unique I, and all the wonderful people I get to work with, are.
No one is alive who can do what you do. Remember that.

Color grade breakdown:
- Camera: Sony FX6
- Lens: 24-70mm G-Master
- Settings : 4K UHD, 23.97 fps, S-Log3 (Cine-EI), 800 ISO, 3000K WB

- NLE: Davinci Resolve Studio
- LUT: Phantom Arri LUT (Jamaica)
- Boosted Exposure
- Secondries: Shifted cool tones to teal, added more warmth, incorporated split-tones for more color separation
- Film Look: Softened overall image to reduce digital edge, utilized Kodak 2383 LUT to add more punch, took off some saturation in the reds
- Halation: added halation to make highlights pop in the background. Also used power-windows around the talent, so they would not be affected
- Added grain
-Additional power-windows were used to darken corners of the image to help move the eye towards the subject, also added some sharpness
