Happy National Coming Out Day! 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️

Today is a day of awareness, support, and celebration of those in the LGBTQIA+ community who are coming out of the closet and living as their authentic selves. Observed annually since 1988, National Coming Out Day seeks to move past silence and break down barriers faced by the LGBTQIA+ community.

We at the Word Horde Emporium of the Weird & Fantastic believe that people thrive when they can live authentically, and that love is love. We carry numerous LGBTQIA+ resources (like these fantastic new arrivals from @microcosm_pub) and can order many more.

No matter where you are on your journey, whether you’re out and proud, still figuring it out, or somewhere in between:

❤️ we SEE you 💚
🧡 we ACCEPT you 💙
💛 we LOVE you 💜

Even in the scariest of times, the Word Horde Emporium of the Weird & Fantastic will always be a safe space for our queer family, friends, and community. 🌈

BUT WAIT, THERE’S A LAST BIT OF MORE! CAN YOU BELIEVE?! SO MANY VENDORS FOR THE PRICE OF —NO PRICE?! Yep! Terroronto is free to attend. Try finding a better deal in toronto in 2026... YOU CAN’T! (Even CSI Miami couldn’t.) Don’t take our word for it though, come see for yourself! It’s a night market! That’s like two hours less jerkass hot sun than most other markets! It’s win win win (no matter what!)

Anyways THIS LEVEL OF ENTHUSIASM IS HARD TO SUSTAIN WHEN YOU AREN’T 5 YEARS OLD! BUT WE ARE DOING IT! And you can too!!! If you come to the Tranzac 4pm to Midnight, Today, (July 4)! Probably just do that tho! Seriously do that! It would be so hilarious! You just like, go to the craft market, and then you have a great time?! Hahahahahahahaa classic!!!!

For a full list of all the vendors and their social media accounts, plus all the details you need for the event, click the link in our bio!
