Unlike most of my counterparts, I had no real passion for studying law. Honestly, I just liked the idea of being in the Arts class in secondary school and let’s be real, “Barrister” has a really nice ring to it.
The beginning of my journey was chaotic. I was clearly confused and naive imagine adding an unstable calendar and incessant strike breaks to that mix. But Lord, I had the best set of mentors and senior friends to see me through.

The second floor held a little more promise. I’d gained more confidence, more exposure, and I’d clearly built intimacy with Jesus. I was so bold that I started my precious brainchild @fruityfranca 🥹🥹🥹🥹

By the third floor, I was no longer a child. I was so grown, physically and emotionally taking big risks, building lasting networks, and I even ran for office in my faculty. Ahhh, the same naive Francisca 😭😭😭

My penultimate year was the year I carried my business on my head and made real big-girl moves 😩😩💪💪

Then my final year came, and with it, the realization of just how faithful God had been. I can’t thank Him enough, honestly, for all His benefits to me.
The little teenage girl who scurried into the Faculty of Law has, through years of God’s grace and perseverance, transformed into this fierce young woman.

To the friends who became family along the way thank you for the laughter, the late-night pep talks, and for showing up on every floor of this journey with me. And to my parents, thank you for believing in me long before I believed in myself, and for every sacrifice that got me here. I honestly couldn’t have done this without you all. 🥹🤍
