<Mallorca> FOUR SEASONS MALLORCA | The Reinvention of Formentor

Since 1929, Formentor has occupied a singular place in Mallorca's cultural and hospitality history, welcoming generations of artists, writers and international society.

Now reimagined as Four Seasons Mallorca at Formentor (@fsmallorca), this legendary Mediterranean address begins a new chapter.

From its reconstructed architecture and beautifully considered interiors to the pine-shaded beach, historic finca and vineyards, Formentor offers an experience extending far beyond the hotel itself.

Joining us to explore its transformation, discovering an ambitious new vision for one of Mallorca's most celebrated addresses. 🇪🇸🇪🇸🇪🇸🏝🏝🏝🏖🏖🏖

<Mallorca> One of the most extraordinary aspects of Four Seasons Resort Mallorca at Formentor (@fsmallorca) is the sheer scale and diversity of its private estate, extending from the Mediterranean shoreline into the forests, vineyards, and historic landscapes of the peninsula.

There is an entire world to discover here.

The pine-shaded beach, with its crystal-clear waters and beachfront dining at Llum i Sal, is only the beginning. Private boat excursions, secluded garden terraces, outdoor pools, wellness facilities, and scenic walking and cycling routes offer an impressive variety of experiences.

Further into the estate, we discovered the historic Finca Cases Velles, with its beautiful stone courtyard, intimate chapel, and the surrounding vineyards of Vinyes de Formentor. Wine tastings, private dining, and the rural traditions of Mallorca introduce an entirely different atmosphere, all connected to the same remarkable property.

What impressed us most was the freedom to enjoy so many different sides of Mediterranean life within one estate, supported by the thoughtful service and hospitality of Four Seasons.

From the beach and the mountains to the vineyards and quiet gardens, Formentor is an extraordinary place to explore, and one that deserves far longer than a weekend. 🇪🇦🇪🇦🇪🇦🏝🏝🏝🌊🌊🌊 @fourseasons

Courtney’s camera roll from @fsmallorca🇪🇸

Pine forests, Mediterranean water, vineyard evenings and long days by the beach. This is Mallorca at its slowest.

Set on the Cap de Formentor peninsula, the resort feels more like a private Mediterranean estate, with 110 rooms and suites, a working vineyard, two pools and direct access to Formentor Beach.

Courtney recently stayed here and came back with plenty of firsthand notes. Our complete guide, including the rooms we’d book, where we’d eat and who we think it’s best for, is on the blog.

Looking back at all the moments I’ve spent at Four Seasons Mallorca this summer, from reading by the pool and relaxing in the sauna to facials, personal training sessions, and long lunches and dinners at their beautiful restaurants.

The Spa Membership has been such a good way to enjoy the hotel beyond just the spa, making it part of my summer routine and giving me that holiday feeling right here on my home island.

Closing the warm season here, and already looking forward to coming back.
