Texas Recap⭐️. Texas gave us every thing we needed to experience! Cold, rain, lightning, sun, heat, and humidity. All that over 3 days! Oh and some great BBQ!🔥. Competing well, no matter the conditions was our goal!
We navigated through adversity and got better, learning to do so.
Meet highlights:
⭐️Jaylon Wells, shot 2 throws over 18m and Texas Relays champ of section B.
⭐️Maren Butler, shot 14.99m SB
⭐️Giszelle Hrehor, hammer 3rd meet in 57m territory just under her PR. Big things coming!
The experience of the challenges that all the athletes experienced this trip is worth gold! On the rise and onto the next!

✨Welcome to the BEACH Maren!✨ The last of our newcomers this year, Maren Butler is from Tulane University and throws shot put and discus with a PR of 15.65 m in shot and 47.60 m in discus! Maren placed third in the AAC in 2023 and was a regional qualifier the same year! Maren not only has the strength but the brains and has a degree in Neuroscience from Tulane and is currently getting her MBA at the Beach 🤓. Maren is a great addition to our throws squad and we can’t wait to see what she can accomplish for her last year! 💣💪🏼💪🏼
