Every Renvale harness has to be robust and reliable. What changes from one programme to the next is the weight target, available space, operating environment, cost and production volume. Those requirements shape the design, materials and components we choose.

Once the boot goes on, the careful work behind the connector slips from view. These images catch it taking shape in the hands of one of our expert technicians.

Built in Suffolk. Put to work around the world.

We’ll be at @miamotorsport CTS at the Silverstone Wing on 14–15 October. If you’re working on an electrical system, come and talk through the requirements with us face to face.

Most people will never see this part. Under pressure, it can decide everything.

Inside every motorsport wiring harness, hundreds of small decisions have to work together.

Every wire, splice, termination and transition must be built precisely to specification and ready to perform through vibration, heat, sustained load and constant stress.

At Renvale, this level of precision isn’t the exception. It’s the standard.

For over 40 years, that approach has supported leading brands and contributed to more than 50 world championship titles.

The result may remain hidden.

The reliability cannot.

Built to specification.
Built to process.
Built to perform.

Skills are built by doing.

To mark World Youth Skills Day this week, we’re sharing a closer look at Azaan’s work-experience placement at Renvale through our ongoing collaboration with UTCN.

Azaan is an aspiring mechanical engineer studying A Levels in Maths, Physics and Engineering.

During his placement, he spent time across Design and Engineering, Production, Goods In and Parts, and Test and Inspection.

He gained hands-on experience building a small section of a motorsport wiring harness, used his CAD and drawing skills with our Design and Engineering team, and learned how component control, traceability and Cirris testing support quality at every stage.

Azaan said:

“I really enjoyed the hands-on side of the placement and seeing how the drawings connect with the finished assembly. Learning about quality control, Cirris testing and how every component is tracked showed me how much detail goes into the process.”

For us, work experience should be more than observing. It should help young people build confidence, ask questions and see where a future in engineering could take them.

Thank you to everyone across Renvale who shared their time and knowledge, and to UTCN for helping connect young people with meaningful industry experience.

Where experience becomes opportunity.
