🚴‍♀️ I tried a sample pack of FTP Fuel and I’m honestly really impressed! 😍

I struggle with gels sometimes as they can leave me feeling bloated, so I was keen to try something different.

The flavours are so nice, and I love that you get big bags along with a little storage bag that clips onto you — perfect for taking out on training rides! 🙌

Always nice finding something that works for you, tastes good and makes fuelling on the bike that little bit easier. Definitely be ordering more! 💪🚴‍♀️

🏃‍♂️ ROAD TO ABINGDON | TOMORROW IS THE DAY. ❤️

ONE SLEEP. 26.2 MILES. ONE VERY SPECIAL REASON.

The kit is laid out.
The race number is ready.
The training is done.

And tomorrow morning, I'll finally be standing on the start line of the Abingdon Marathon. 🏁

I don't think anything could have prepared me for just how much this marathon would come to mean.

When I first started this journey, I had a goal. Run a marathon, raise money and give something back to the incredible Paediatric Critical Care team at the John Radcliffe Hospital.

But somewhere along the way, everything changed.

We lost our beautiful boy, Lennox. 💚

And suddenly, this became about so much more than running.

Tomorrow, I'll be wearing my Lenny's Legends shirt with pride, carrying his memory through every single mile.

My little bracelet says “Forever with Me” and contains some of Lennox's ashes, and that's exactly where he'll be.

Every step. Every difficult moment. Every kilometre.

I know tomorrow will test me physically, but I also know it's going to be an incredibly emotional day.

There will be nerves, there will be excitement, and I'm sure there will be tears.

But most importantly, there will be love.

To everyone who has supported this journey, donated, shared a post, sent a message or simply followed along — thank you. It genuinely means the world.

And to the incredible team at John Radcliffe Paediatric Critical Care, this one's for you too. ❤️

A huge shoutput to @ftpendurancefuel for fueling me.

A solo 33k trail run this morning and felt absolutely brilliant 🤩 Porridge for brekkie then nicely topped up with FTP blocks and carb drink; no tiredness kicked in until I could see my house again (classic 🙄). Will definitely be using this as my fuel of choice through winter and at the Lighthouse Marathon next month 👌

20TH PLACE. 8:39:25. GLASGOW ➡️ EDINBURGH. 🏃‍♂️ @glasgow_to_edinburgh_ultra

An ultra PB? A day I’ll remember for a long time? Absolutely.

20th overall in the Glasgow to Edinburgh Ultra in 8 hours 39 minutes!

The legs were hanging on for the last 10 miles, but the fuelling was spot on, the rain stayed away and we somehow had a tailwind for around 95% of the route. Couldn’t have asked for much better conditions!

A massive part of a day like this is getting the little things right. Shoutout to @precisionfandh and @ftpendurancefuel for being part of the race strategy. The fuelling plan worked exactly as hoped and avoid any sickness that has plagued my sub 3 attempts.

It was a motivational boost at the finish to see @clarefindlay87 at the finish then run the track with Ollie (although I had to tell him to slow down 😂)

And the aftermath? Let’s just say Edinburgh Zoo’s stairs weren’t my biggest fan… 😂

One more challenge to round off a brilliant year of running: The @illuminatorrun 15-mile night run next Saturday.

If you’ve enjoyed following the training, the races and the questionable decisions along the way, stick around. There’s more to come!

👇 Ultra runners — what’s your best post-race recovery hack? Walking backwards downstairs or hills is currently high on my list!

Week 2/23 🏃‍♂️

5.3k easy, 12k long run and 5 x 800m intervals on the plan this week.

Going to start testing the @ftpendurancefuel fuel as well, see what works ahead of the half marathons.

We follow the plan and see what happens 😂

🏃‍♂️ ROAD TO ABINGDON | 7 DAYS TO GO ⏳🔥

ONE WEEK. 26.2 MILES. ONE VERY SPECIAL REASON. 💙

In just seven days, I'll be standing on the start line of the Abingdon Marathon.

Months of training. Hundreds of kilometres. Early mornings, long runs, tired legs, difficult sessions and a few questionable route choices along the way! 😂

But every single mile has been building towards this moment.

This journey has become about so much more than running.

It's about remembering our beautiful boy, Lennox, and giving something back to the incredible Paediatric Critical Care team at the John Radcliffe Hospital who cared for him.

There have been moments when training has felt almost impossible, especially over these last few weeks. But I've kept putting one foot in front of the other.

And now, with the finish line finally in sight, there's a mixture of nerves, excitement and emotion.

I don't know exactly what those 26.2 miles will throw at me.

I know it'll hurt. I know it'll be tough. And I know there will be moments when I'll have to dig deeper than ever before.

But I also know exactly who I'm running for. 💙

Sunday 18th October 2026.

ABINGDON MARATHON.

26.2 MILES. BRING IT ON! 💪🔥

If you'd like to support my fundraiser for John Radcliffe Paediatric Critical Care, the donation link is in my bio. Every donation and share means so much to us.

For Lenny.

Always. 💙🦋

Can’t wait to give these a go - no idea how to run a half marathon yet but I sure know I’m not a fan of just using gels… @ftpendurancefuel @invernesshalfmarathon #urunn #ftpendurancefuel

So happy to have been back out running today, it's been a long wait and as per usual the more you can't do something the more you want to do it!! Don't get me wrong, I still HATE running!! 😂😂 The ultra training a now hopefully back on track - the road to the Montane Lakeland 50 & 100 lies ahead like the yellow brick road, lets see what it has to offer and where it ends 💜💜💜💜

Run Streak Day 1,147 - Manchester Half Marathon - what can I say? I achieved my half personal best earlier this year and treated this race as a training run for next week’s full marathon. Yet I managed to shave three minutes off my Chester personal best. Wow, I am delighted with that effort.
