Grateful for friends, family, and a life far better than I deserve! If you’re bored, here are 24 things I’ve learned in my 24th year in the year 2024:

1. My heart is with the outcast

2. Travel light

3. Having faith means you still have questions

4. Interruptions are gifts

5. My siblings will always be my best friends

6. Park in a different spot

7. If you want a new life, you have to die first

8. Perms are highly controversial

9. Everyone knows something I don’t

10. I know something everyone else doesn’t

11. Consistency compounds

12. Sometimes you need to move your fire pit to the front yard

13. If I’m not embarrassed by who I used to be, then I’m probably not growing into who I want to be

14. I have limits

15. Norman has a train station

16. There’s only one picture that matters at a wedding

17. Public speaking is different than preaching

18. Trying to live my life like a movie is way more entertaining than watching one

19. Ideas are great, but vision is better

20. Awareness unlocks possibilities, but doesn’t guarantee results

21. Pay attention to passion

22. Experiences > Expectations

23. Cooking is more fun on a Blackstone

24. I’m working on exchanging my “American Dream” for a Global Promise

this is why im alive: to be loved by Him, to love Him back, and to share His love with others. fill the soval was another mark in my walk with Jesus that i’ll never forget. being part of ~800 people that were jumping, on their knees, crying, and singing to Jesus IN THE MIDDLE OF CAMPUS is something that will never not blow my mind.

one moment in God’s presence has the power to change a life forever. i dont say that lightly; i know it to be true bc ive seen it in my own life and in my friends too.

matter of fact, living God-dreams with friends will never get old. college fun looks like hosting and encountering Him on campus with friends???? do yk how surreal this is???!!!?!?! (let’s not even talk ab the media team rn, they’ll get their own text lol<3)

could talk a whole lot more about this (prob will lol). im really really deeply thankful. what a life.

sometimes i think about how if i never left home and made a home here too, i would never know a life with some specific people, and that is pretty crazy because i never again want to know life without them. feel like i repeated the same words too much there lol but yk what i meannnnn, what a lifeeeee

2023

A post never captures it all because it’s just a highlight reel.

2023 had some uncertain, painful, and frustrating moments. It also had many joyful, exciting, and positive ones as well. I’m thankful for it all, the good and the bad because in the Lord, it’s never in vain.

Here’s to 2024!
